USA Pics

you are misunderstanding what i am saying. i mean people are confusing it because they do look similar, but they are not the same. that being the case, i never painted a C30-7 into SP because none exist (that is why JR has none). that is the point i have been trying to get across lately.

my response was to this:

Exactly. JR is VERYYYYY accurate on what they offer.

I think people are getting confused because Jkerlee re-skinned your old freeware C30-7 into a SP skin. It is on the DLS along with the other re-skins of this asset.

South bound beet train at Woodley Xing, that is Bushe Gardens Van Nuys in the back ground. http://www.themeparkbrochures.net/maps/1972/bgla1972map.html

Where did you get that crossing for Trainz? That looks like something that I would like to have, thanks.

Well sir, you have to build it.
Thanks for telling me. I kind of figured it involved something with bnsf50's NRC version, one of these days I'm going to go through all of those crossings to pick and choose all of them I'd like to have.

May I join you guys?

I've not worked on a US style route for years. I'm working on one of my layouts I started back 9 years ago! It's just a track layout and landscaping with old textures that need to be redone.
I've been reworking it with what i've learnt through the years and so far have only done one little square as a test of how its going to look.. So here is the start of many screenies to come!

I've never been to the States, so let me know if anything doesn't look very realistic..

Looks good, except that bush looks quite lonely!:hehe:

Indeed! I've still not settled on foliage to suit the layout (as you'l see by my thread in the Surveyor forum, if you've got any advice head there please ;)).

There are some more bushes there now but still not sure if it works.

I will make sure my next shots are more interesting than WIP shots. I apologise!

Hallo,

so it seems you have got a long break :-)
I am also about to redo a route that I stopped creating in 05/2006 as I started to work at my Milwaukee Road Avery – Drexel route. Sometimes redesign is nearly the same work than beginning from scratch, but the replacement tools now makes it much more easy.
Looks like you have found a nice texture mix for the ground – well done.
The only thing I would see it the windpower in the background. The green foundation tells us it is a windpower unit from a company named “Enercon”. You probably will not find such windpower units in the USA in the near future. So far as I saw at tv-reports some technology spy brought another company in the position to build such power units all over the USA.

:)

Your’s TUME
