I made this one for Trainz (the non-trainz one looks better I think):

The 4141 locomotive is awesome, there should not be any haters as I try to stay neutral. Please don't turn this into a political war.

Back to the non-political Trainz pictures...

Back on the non-political side of things...

A loaded 50 car iron ore train is dragged towards Cape Lambert on my reworked Robe River Iron (Only thing is the ore is displayed as coal in the cars:o).

And then some empties on their way back to the mine at Mesa J. I still need to replace the bridge, though.

Now, on to my latest route, what I call the Coal Road. Pretty much, it's a coal railway & possible high-speed line for both passenger & freight (haven't made up my mind yet). But anyway, there is a coal mine, small yard, and a track loop for turning full trains around on. I'm probably about 1/3 or 1/4 of the way done with it, but since it is completely freelance, I'm not sure on how far it's going to go. But, here are some progress & for fun shots.

This route can be for almost any part of the world & any era, but probably looks best with post-1950 trains. However, I made an exeption...

Just a "for fun" shot of a single 44 ton loco hauling 100 small loaded coal cars up what I call the "old grade" that traverses steeply over 2 small summits, while the "new grade" is simply a straight tunnel that goes right through the mountains.

Here are a couple of pix from the small fishing hamlet I call Fisherton :p.

The rails of the old crossing in front of the new crossing. It is the only road access for the small town.

Trying to turn this thread subject around...

Plus: Love the Railforce One and the POW-MIA dedication units!

General Motors does not own Electromotive Division anymore, they are a separate company now.

Here's hoping they are safely in Canada, and won't be gobbled up as well!:D

LOL; I'm looking forward to cap'n'trade revitalizing the American railroad, when the end goal is to stop using coal as a power source. Of course, all those domestic loads will soon be replaced by imported loads anyway, so I guess it's a wash. Maybe the coal cars can be recycled into containers, and once the locomotives are retrofitted with sails and solar panels it's just a matter of figuring out how many engineers are needed to pedal the thing! Assuming the nationalized health care hasn't decimated the ranks of able bodied workers, there should be enough room in the shell after removing the prime mover!

I guess that CSX commercial will prove to be a glimpse of the future!:D

It's a golden morning in the "Golden State"....

A CalTrain commuter cabcar and consist sit between the platform and the sidewalk at San Francisco's CalTrain station...

The station building IS created by me :)

Nice shot! Glad to see someone finally doing the CalTrain!

Well said. If this cap'n'trade (remember Waterloo?) goes through, G.E. (who owns NBC tv) and the current administration will profit billions while many regions of the country will be seriously hurt. This is a majorly corrupted conflict of interest.

Ok to delete this:)if anyones offended
No problemo.

...... Hey! Nice pics everyone! :Y:

This pic features Deane's "derelict" content and JVC's vegetation. I appreciate what they've shared with us!

I did a search on the DLS for "Deane" and "derelict" and came up empty. Anyone got any suggestions on how I can find these derelicts?
