Another fine day at Conrail's Richmond Yard out in Coal Country...

CR 2572 and CR 4120 take on fuel at the DSF with a long line of other road power behind them. On the other side, a line of GPs and B36s wait for service before heading back to the mines. Due to the tight curves, the runs to the mine and back are restricted to four-axle units. Six-axle road power takes over once in Richmond.

A conductor communicates with his approaching train by radio as it comes down the hill to the Richmond crew change point. A loaded Conrail coal train sits waiting for its crew while the 0701 yard job works the east end of the Richmond Yard, prepping the next run to the mine.

This is not from Trainz, but from American Truck Simulator. And no, you can't drive the locomotives in this game, only trucks, cars amd busses.

Nice shots guys! Hert, what do they call that livery for BNSF?

That paint scheme became known as the "Vomit Bonnet" and was one of many "prototype" schemes that roamed the BNSF rails in the early days. Unfortunately, BNSF 9647, the only engine to get that paint scheme, was repainted orange some years ago.
