Nice conrail45 you have mad skills when it comes to capturing the gloomy affects of weather. What trees are you using?

Beautiful pictures & route. What route is that may I ask?

peter

Thanks Peter! It's my own sort of module thing I made trying to get that early spring "mud season" kind of feel. Still working on it, but really wanting to get some more route building done, hopefully in the form of modules coming soon.

Thanks! It's a mixture of trees from 2 prominent artists. Trainz666 for the closer trees, and dmdrake for the forests in the background. Wanted to try out some of the lower poly trees, and with a bit of playing around with the environmental settings they don't look too bad! Honestly with both authors I'd encourage anyone to just download as much as you can and sort through them to find the ones you like, can't give a list of kuids or anything because that's mostly what I do :D

What really impressed me was the patches of snow!!! How did you do that???

Thanks again, and Jordan is correct, most of the snow patches, as well as a lot of assets, are from Dinorius. Another few assets I'd recommend are his sand piles (winter textures) and snow bank splines for the patchy mostly-thawed snow look.

OK, let's actually do the WP justice today...

In 1949, we observe the California Zephyr traversing the famous Altamont Pass in California. It's only been a few months since the train's inauguration, and the WP hasn't yet taken delivery of their FP7s. EMD F3s 801A/B/C do the job today with ease as they bring the train towards the Oakland Mole.

Where could one find the Feather River route, or is this still a WIP or something? Wouldn't mind knowing where those WP Claifornia Zephyr cars are located as well, if anyone would point me in the right direction to find them.

First T:ANE screenshot :D Small WIP without any additional content. Trainz looks great in 3440 x 1440 resolution as well.
