US Platforms/Stations

Hey Guys,

I was just wondering where I can get some nicely detailed and of decent length (200-300 meters) American style platforms/stations (preferably with passenger loading capabilities but with out is fine to) I have looked on the DLS and cannot seem to find all that many that come across as American none that are of decent length anyway, if anyone knows where I might be able to find or who makes a large range of platforms/stations on the DLS then that would be greatly appreciated.

There are several that came with the Harlem Line in TC1&2 and I think TS2009 as well. You can copy the legacy built-in files (builtin/*.ja) to TS12, give TS12 the TS2009 serial number, and run an EDR.

As for spline-based platforms, I would suggest using those with the AJS invisible stations.

I have a couple of mission style depots on the DLS that might fit the bill for you. I forget how long the platforms are though, but they have some length to them. Sorry to say that they're not passenger enabled, but maybe I'll get around to that one of these days.

If you use the AJS invisble stations you can make almost any station passenger interactive. Most platforms for stations are splines, which allows for greater flexibility.

Are you looking for high-level platforms (like what is found on the east coast) or low-level platforms? I just released some low-levels on my site, I'll try and get them up on the DLS in the next week or so. As for high-level platforms, there are a number of UK platforms that wouldn't look out of place on the DLS, and I think Trainz Commuter Rail has a good US one.
