when trying to download NYCTA2012 I receive the following error : unable to register trainz url registry key is their a way to
resolve this is

Which version, and have you tried running that version as administrator if using Windows Vista or later?

running windows 7 pro all patches added just made changes to administrator will reboot and try again.

OK - I need to check exactly which Trainz version you are encountering this with.

That version doesn't normally throw up that error from experience. When you ran it as administrator, did you load Content Manager up at least once?

yes I did and also updated maybe in the dls that the problem anywhere where I can find nycta2012

Have you tried searching for it in Content Manager itself?

tried what was suggest manager to located nycta2005 and nycta2007 within content manager problem still exist with any new version of 2005 and 2012
I think it has something to do with mulitplayer. Im happy to have these two version of the route thank you for all your help.

No worries - it's still baffling though regarding that error as the last time I saw that was back with TRS2004.

decided enough is enough wiped out all version of trainz 2004 thru 2010 rebooted remove all files and folders reinstalled trainz 2009 and disable all software to
have a clean shot this time virus protection turn off and firewall off as well. so far so good nycta 2012 loading without issue. hopefully this will continue

giving up on NYCTA2012 after reinstalling and patching nothing doing that it Im done with nycta2012 I can't win hope for a miracle

Need to run Content Manager as Administrator.

Go to the folder where Trainz is installed.

Right-click on the .exe files, one at a time, and do the following.

Choose properties
Choose Compatibility Tab on the interface
Check Run as administrator.

While in the Trainz folder,

Go to the Bin folder and do the same.

After doing this, try again. This should do the trick.

TS2009... Program Files (x86)\Auran\TS2009\ or something similar.

There is then the bin folder under that.

The .exe files will be in there. They maybe hidden, but you'll see the names such as Launcher, Trainz, etc.

finally got nycta 2012 loaded looks great just one question I know everthing is underground when you get to the last stop how do I get to the front of the train to drive it in other direction above its easy but under your sight is restricted and tips
