Updating Newest Layout, A Baseboard of Fun Which Is on the DLS. Will My Updating the Layout Cause a Duplicate One or Cancel It and Just Have Updated One?

You update in the same way as any asset. The route will become a kuid2 with a version number. They will both be on the DLS so older Trainz builds can still have access to the old one.
