What do you mean by unknown assets? When you list dependencies of an asset, anything labeled "unknown asset" means that CMP cannot locate it in both your Trainz and the DLS.

Yes I know. When I bring up View Dependents of a route there is a few Unknown Assets. I would like to delete them. A clean system runs better. Thanks funnnyfarm

Unknown assets are ones that are not on your system and not on the Download Station, so cannot be deleted.

Go into the config for the route and look for the kuids showing unknown.
They may be in more than one place depending what they are.
Sometimes you can work out what they are and replace them with a similar asset.
The other thing to try when searching for missing kuids is to change the last number(the version number). Often this is caused by a typo.

Yes, BUT, just a minute, these unknown assets may be vitally important to the route, for example, railtrack, bridges, viaducts, junction switches, houses, industries, etc, etc, etc, you can't just delete them willy nilly, you need to find out what they are first, otherwise, you may be missing so much content you can't operate the route properly.
