Hey, mbv67 here I need help to uninstall my TRS2006 Because its been having problems with the Content Manager. I want to operate British Trains in TRS2006 but every time I go to the Control Panel I click Add or Remove Programs and go down to TRS2006 and when I click Change/Remove all it does is goes to the Installing Blue Screen (I have the 5 disc pack) and I don't remember how to uninstall it. It happened a couple of times but I don't remember how it came up all it says is TRS2006 Setup.

Yes add and remove programs is the way to uninstall TRS2006. However before you uninstall copy your TRS2006\local folder to a safe place outside of the Auran directory. You could also copy your trainzoptionz.txt and your screenshots folder to the same place if you don't want to lose them.
Once you have done that go to add/remove programs and click on remove for TRS2006, you will get the install program but continue and it will remove TRS2006. After removing and before reinstalling CLEAN YOUR REGISTRY there are lots of registry cleaning programs available free, just google registry cleaner and download one you take a fancy to.

After cleaning the registry reboot then install TRS2006 and DO NOT RUN IT. If you have SP1 on a disk copy it to your HDD and install from there. After installing SP1 run TRS2006 once then copy your local folder back to the TRS2006 directory, run CMP and leave it to rebuild the database. If you have a lot of content CMP might take all night to rebuild, DON'T INTERUPT IT leave it alone untill it has finished rebuilding.

Hope this helps,
