Uninstall 2006

Hi
Its probably been covered before but i can't find a thread
I am trying to uninstall 2006 of my laptop (VISTA) but when i try to uninstall it askes me to enter the serial number which i have done several time but will not start the uninstall.

Any ideas (a computer novice)

Use Add or Remove Programs (XP) or Programs and Features (Vista/7)

Tried that,
But i still have to enter the serial number, then after i have that its says it can't find find the disc and enter the correct disc or path???
Any other ideas

Sounds like a corrupt install to me - your best bet is to re-install the game from your disc (without uninstalling first, as that is where the problem is), then uninstall it.

(If you are using Windows Vista/7, make sure you installed as administrator)
