I uploaded V2.1 this morning. This should fix the loading problem at ESO Flats auto loading and the derailed engine next to the round house in Gunnison.

Hi Lewis..

Its not showing as downloadable yet but when it does I'll report back on how it goes, thanks for the work on this.

Hi Lewis,

Downloaded and installed ok but still the same old 'locally modified asset' issue which is frustrating me beyond words, is there any way I an turn on an event loggr and have some one work with me to see why this issue is occurring?

Many thanks.

I just joined with no problem and there are 5 others on. In CM do a search for locally modified. If you find any, and they are not built in, delete them and and re-download them.

Hi Lewis,

I have been speaking to RudeFx who has the exact same issue as I do and neither of us have any locally modified assets however both of us own Settle and Carlisle add on which was installed before the patch, we believe that possibly an asset from SnC is becoming built in in the course of its install and blocking UMR from working.

Currently I have just completely removed trains and re.installing sans SnC and I will let you know how I get on later..

One other thing you can try. In surveyor edit a route then go through the list of assets and see if any of the KUID's show up red.You need to set the show KUID'S in surveyor options. If there is any, write done the number. These assets can not be used in multiplayer.

I opened the route in surveyor and found that all of the loco in the Gunnison roundhouse start off derailed. I can't start my own Multi-player session nor can I join your. I have deleted the route and session and all the dependencies. I then ran a QDR and then downloaded everything. It still has the derailed loco's and will not let me join. Has anyone any other ideas?

You CANNOT port a session from one route to another. You'll need to recreate the session from scratch. Otherwise, you'll end up with derailed locos because the track data is different from the old route to the new, so even though the loco's global position is the same, the ID of the track segment it's supposed to be on now refers to a different track segment somewhere else on the map.

The session will run even though the engines at Gunnison are derailed. This will be fixed in the next release. I have found that anyone who has SnC installed will have a problem with ths route. It seems that when SnC is installed it changed one or more assets.

Solution steps (method 1):
**NOTE: It is highly recommended to have the database process windows open.**
**NOTE: It is highly recommended to have a First Class Ticket associated and active with your PlanetAuran account.**
**NOTE: These instructions, as with the route and session referenced in this thread, apply only to TS12 SP1.**

1) Launch Trainz. In Main Menu > Options > General Settings, uncheck "Automatically download DLC updates".
2) Exit Trainz. After TADDaemon.exe has exited, go to {trainz-dir}/UserData/ and move the folder "packages" to another location.
3) Open Content Manager and run an extended database repair. Let it run overnight.
4) Set the search filter to "Faulty:True". Wait for TADDaemon to finish validating assets (should say "Assets remaining to validate: 33"), and the "Please wait..." message in Content Manager will be replaced by the list of all faulty assets.
5) Select all the assets, right-click, and choose "Show errors and warnings". Wait for the task to complete. This will clear any false positives.
6) If any assets remain, repeat set 5 for each asset individually, and make note of the errors. If all goes well, you will not have to perform this step.
7) Now bring up the multiplayer session in the CMP main list.
8) Add the filter "Locally Modified:True". If adding this filter makes the list empty, go to step 11.
9) Select everything in the list and press CTRL+O to revert to original.
10) Delete anything that remains.
11) Change the Locally Modified filter to "Installed:False".
12) Select everything in the list, right-click, and choose "Download". Wait for the downloads to complete, then clear the Download Helper queue.
13) Remove the Installed filter.
14) Select everything in the list, right-click, and choose "View Dependencies". If it complains about it taking a really long time, click "Yes".
15) Click "View in Main List" and go to step 8. Repeat until you're cycling through a small number of library assets.
16) Set the search filter to "Out of Date:True" and "Installed:True".
17) Select everything in the list, right-click, and choose "View asset versions." Click "View in Main List".
18) Add the search filters "Obsolete:False" and "Out of Date:False".
19) Select everything in the list, right-click, and choose "Download". Wait for the downloads to complete, then clear the Download Helper queue.
20) Wait for TADDaemon to finish doing its thing, then close Content Manager.
21) If you haven't done so yet, grab something to eat and maybe a few winks of sleep.
22) Launch Trainz and enjoy!

Solution steps (method 2):

1) Install TS12 to a separate directory, i.e. C:\TS12MP. This copy of Trainz will be a "clean" copy, with no local modifications to content - perfectly suitable for multiplayer sessions.
2) Apply the patches in sequence as they apply to your copy of Trainz.
3) Go to the Trainz Launcher and enter your PlanetAuran username and password in the Options dialog.
4) Open Content Manager. If an EDR doesn't start automatically, start one yourself. Let it run overnight.
5) Follow steps 5-7 above.
6) Set the search filter to "Locally Modified:True". The patching process may have screwed things up a bit.
7) Follow steps 9-12 above.
8) Download the route, session, and all their dependencies.
9) Follow steps 16-22 above.

There one thing you didn't say: before you leave Content Manager is to check the Open for Edit filter.(if there anything in there be sure to commit them.

NO!!! No, no, no, no, no. See, that creates the Locally Modified flag, which is bad - HORRIBLE - for multiplayer. If anything is open for edit, do not commit - revert instead. Press CTRL+R or CTRL+O.
