I'll stick my oar in here. The first and last call on content distribution is always that of the creator. Therefore, content creators should do what they think is correct and the users have to like it or lump it.

Sounds good to me. The hard task is in coaxing them to create.

Ok, first off...

We've stated for quite some time that the license a creator adds in is overridden (but not entirely replaced by) the license in the content. It should be noted that base usage of Trainz (e.g. referencing of content via the kuid-table) is fully permitted for content on the DLS. For example using a tree on a route. Be it for free or payware content. You aren't redistributing the content, and hence the content isn't being sold. Only the route.

As to the following:

The DLS in not an option due to violation of utilizing my content against my licensing without any sort of contact by the route/session creator.

Please provide some proof of this, as your comment here essentially suggests that you want to break the kuid system, as outlined in part of my first paragraph. Specifically, your comment leaves it completely open to you wanting to stop free or payware creators from using your content in their route without first contacting you. If this is the case, then in reality Trainz itself isn't really suitable for your content... If it's only regarding use in payware, then your own site may be better suited, so long as you have a system that requires the downloader to agree to your license before either downloading or installing. Even then, you may still have trouble enforcing it...

Secondly, please keep replies and comments constructive and polite. I really don't want to see this turn into a bashing match of anyone.

In a manner of professionalism and polite demeanor, the above comment after careful analysis heavily suggests that it is in the best interest and least resistance to bid farewell to SpeedTree Creation after a strong desire to return (this includes future support of existing content effected by SP1, development/creation upon personal request, and beyond). I could pick apart the comment above I was surprised to read, but having changed from the past will be demonstrated even thought maybe not seen or agreed upon by others of the forum. This is unnecessary stress for me at this time and to my surprise Direct N3V / N3V Partnerships Resistance when in fact I was truly following a therapy suggested Project Focus to help not only the community of Trainz but for me as well. Zec, based on your comment above yet again may I politely request this post that has been far from what I had hoped the outcome to be REMOVED FROM THE FORUM and I am NOT PUBLICLY POINTING the violation. Before this post, I kindly requested a correction of said violation and rudely communicated in private. My opinion of this complete forum entry is it lacks any forward momentum and constructive growth. If it is determined that in fact this remains and at full digression of N3V, the above comment should clearly open ANYONE to clearly utilize my content regardless of my inability to enjoy its use in the Payware Routes/Sessions unless I purchase said item that is not in my Retirement Financial Ability. I have been a member since the early beginning of Trainz and the environment has totally changed and shifted. Three years of hard work to be a valuable SpeedTree Creator is destroyed. As of this post, I am no longer following as well and paraphrasing another member, "We will survive without!".
