I did went to helpdesk and the ticket it showed no UTC.
Please explain: Why would the helpdesk help (in other words: give support) with a no longer supported version?
They always help people with registration issues no matter what version. As far as full support for the software, well that's out of the question.

UTC is like comparing Tyco or Bachman HO Christmas trainsets, to Athearn HO locos and railcars.
Although it might be fun ... UTC is very antiquated.
I bet I could get it to install ... we are missing some aspect of the installation, somehow.
I couldn't install Railroad Tycoon ... but now I really don't miss it, because I have a better game ... and TS10 or TS12 would be the version for you ... TRS2006 is too hard to backdate all the assets, that's why I don't suggest you getting TRS2006 ... You can get TRS2006, if you want, and then I could help you.

well it's no use. there is no help and helpdesk doesn't show UTC. if I do a ticket

It won't show UTC on the Helpdesk as it's not a supported version nowadays. However, you may be able to do it under one of the other headings, or email auransupport (at) auran.com (be aware though that it may take longer using this method).

The company name is holding up your registration ... or the serial number is not usable (possibly it has been pre-registered by another user ... and as repackaged and sold as a new virgin, sealed package game).
Or the way you are installing by browsing the disc for the "setup.exe", or ticking properties "Run As Administrator" is not being followed.
I am dumbfounded as to why the installation does not go through to "Next" ?

actually the serial number is right but the company box is the problem.

That's unusual. Did you try my 'Home' suggestion? Also, make sure you've entered something in the User Name box, and when it comes to entering the serial number include the dashes if it's one long box.

Hold on there Buh-ba-loie ... What would happen if he sent his disc to me ... and I tried to register it under his E-Mail address , using his UN & PW, using his profile ... and me registering it for him from my PC, remotely (nothing illegal about that is there) ? If I'm doing it entirely for him, (and nothing for me) remotely from my PC ?
I really want him satisfied with it installed directly under his own name, (as I want no parts of UTC myself), but I would do this or someone, to help them out.

This should work, but maybe this can be done using remote desktop, VNC, or some other support software. He could put the disc in his drive, and you could see him go through the registration and installation motions. If he's making an error, you could see this and intervene. The only thing you can't have direct access to are the more important and secure things such as his password. You'll see his CD-key while he's entering it into his computer so that wouldn't be secret.
