Ultimate trainz collection

19 posts to register a game ... If you get free Skype, I will try to help you ... by instant messaging ... you could have had it done days ago.

If it is UTC you will have to backdate allot of assets, just as I do in TRS2006 ...where as with TS10 & TS12 it would be a much more up to date game.

I only use TRS2006 because of the ease of Surveyor in laying track ... and because TRS2006 plays on low end, integrated graphics PC's.

I tried to help this guy out with registration ... is it possibly that UTC is so unsupported that it can not be registered ?
Or is it the lack of a FCT that is hindering his registration ?
IDK ... I am at a loss of what to try !
I tried suggesting retyping Edit: PW, resetting UN, blanking out the UN & PW, re-saving profile, clearing the download wish list cache, serial # all caps (except for numerals) ... etc ... etc ...

As I said before, contact the helpdesk. This appears to be a username and registration issue. There is no restriction on registering an old version. I know someone who just purchased UTC and registered it without an issue.

helpdesk didn't really help me.. i went to the section of how to register trainz and there is no login for the installer...

The "Company" name box (left blank) seems to be kicking his registration back to "redo"

I always left "Company" blank.

It is saying: "Serial Number Not Found" or something to that order. "Redo".

Trainz usually enters 'Hewlett-Packard' in the Company box on installation for me, because I am installing it on a HP laptop. Maybe the OP should do something similar?

You can put whatever you want in as the company name. In the past I've used the ~ character for a company name.

It looks like everyone is grabbing at straws here and not getting you anywhere except for going in circles.

Do yourself a favor and submit a ticket requesting help with the serial number. The helpdesk will surely help you with this.

I know that there are several people using TRS2004, and a couple more using TRS2006 ... is there anyone still using UTC out there ?

While the ancient game might be fun to run, for a beginner, I feel that TRS2006 would be the minimum that I would recommend to anyone, and I would certainly suggest TS10 ... and possibly TS12.

UTC would require alot of backdating and editing of config files, and that process in TRS2006 is a huge burden, even to me.
