UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Ipswich is part of a larger route that extends from liverpool street to Norwich and Harwich . Even though the route is a shortened version with a fair few of the intermediate stops and countryside missing it's still a huge undertaking to get finished . The only complete section being between Ipswich and Manningtree . There are pictures of both completed stations on this thread .
Stafford is the same , the station area being completed but the surrounding areas are just plain boards .
I could release both but the complaints of unfinished work and the wasting of users bandwidths on here would out weigh the one or 2 thanks I'd get for releasing it .

The route in the screenshot above is part of my Mk1 electrification test route . One that I'm looking at releasing but up to the other week had stalled due to me trying to sort out the problems of setting up spline configs to be compatible with 2009 and above . Having found a solution I've just rebuilt 50+ config files , a situation I found extremely tedious . I could just release the catenary but then there will be complaints that folks dont know what to do with it or how the various bits go together .

As for posting these screenshots of unfinished /unreleased routes I will continue to do so whether folks like it or not !!

And many thanks to Chrisaw for providing us with some excellent Southern style semaphores :D

Sorry Dave no insult intended only joking. :hehe:

You tease us with all those excellent screenshots and oh so many other trainz users say they are but we can only sit at our computers drooling at the brilliance of creative talents. I for one start a route but never finish them.

Despite having two windows 7 reinstallations... i have got trainz back on, despite having a ton of assets i will need to reinstall periodically. I decided to uprate to trainz 2010 while i had the chance, allowing me to use speed trees. Not all the assets are scatterd to the far reaches of the galaxy, some of the class 47's are still running. Encluding my favorite one, the class 47 in parcels livery. The one in question is 47474 - Sir roland hill - seen here while i was having a exsplore of the ECML.

I am aware that the carriages are horribly out of time era.

Thanks for posting Gam, nice to see these ressurected diesels working again :)

Is it just my browser viewing your pics wrongly or are they squashed slightly lengthwise?

EDIT- you're pics just appeared while I was typing pfx, Kyle is most impressive!

Blue diesels rule...;)

Ex GWR Castle class 7013 Bristol Castle in BR experimental light green circa 1947-48. Horrendous!

Thanks to skipper1945 for the original GWR Castle class model.

Rob.

Loving the look of the route pfx. Can you tell me the name of the sloping walkway in your last screenshot?
Thanks, Alex.

Hi Alex. It's actually cobbled together using two splines. I can't remember what they are off the top of my head, but one is a single lane road spline, the other is a brick wall or retaining wall or somesuch. If I remember, I'll post the actual asset names. Don't hold your breath though, I'm on the ale...

Stone retaining wall dirty kuid:84912:37026, tick the Trainz box on the DLS or you won't see it.

Lovely! Are you going to get permission to release it?

Thanks for the compliment but sorry, no release due to a couple of reasons:

1. skipper1945 won't permit general reskins of his models to be released.

2. The reskin is flawed and can't be corrected, the image you see is the result of doctoring in PSP 9 in order to look correct.

Rob.

Few screen shots of my latest compact route,Windrush i think it is completed but what route ever is.,,,,. Thanks to ImageShack.
