UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Coming along nicely WEN, really capturing the look of the 502 cab. The cab will be one of the hardest parts to restore on the preserved unit. The driving trailer's cab has suffered worse corrosion than the motor coach

I noticed, whats the plan with the DTS cab? Strip out most of the metal and wood work and rebuild it all or just patch up what you can? Either way, it looks one hell of a mess, due to its time at Great Maston. In fact, the DMBS end looks quite well preserved.

The DTS cab will probably be rebuilt due to the extent of the corrosion, the flooring too. Having striped out half the internal panels, we have found that main framework is however remarkably sound.

Great shots Andytee1

I Spy with my little eye... WHAT? All those opening doors? Get ready for a flood of dool":udrool: :udrool: :udrool: :udrool: :udrool: :udrool: :udrool: :udrool: :udrool: :udrool:
Brilliant Nexus!

Looks like some joker is trying to delay the train! I mean, for all the doors to be open with not a soul on the platform...

Local football club is just off to the left of the shot and the rival fans have all got off and left the station area , meanwhile the poor guard is dealing with someone in the train who's refusing to buy a ticket :p

Evening running on the BKR saw GNR N2 No.1730 & GWR Railbus No.24 in action.
1730 waits at Camden with the teak rake.

Great screenshots everyone.

Nice to see some from you andytee got any more new reskins. We've just about done all the class 66's now.

I'll put some up myself shortly. Anyway happy new year everyone.

Its ok some scottish bloke will sort the fare dodger out :p

"Off"
"No"
"Off"
"No"
"I could sit here all night and I am getting paid for this. So, you're off!"
"I told you, I've already paid for a ticket"....

Anyway, don't drool, its an electrical item and electrics and drool will probably trip your computer (and trains) out.

I've done polychopping and built the insides of the cab, I need more photo references really, so I must email Paul502 for those. This lot is purely guesswork from what I've seen anyway. (Although you can't see it as it is a bit dark!)

I've gotta say that is one of the reasons I omitted animated doors from my last 421 beta - the fact that on a train with manual doors, the entire set would open which is just so unrealistic most of the time.

Now if they could be scripted to open a random number ... :)

Hi Kev, that is good thinking,

However what would be good, is the train only has some of the doors set to open, and not all the doors, that way, the same few doors open at the stations, and it may also reduce poly counts, as some of the doors will open, not all of the doors.

Wouldn't work on a HST set though, as most of the doors are opened at stations in real life, I feel sorry for the poor guy who has to go right along the whole 14 coach train and shut them all.

Been a long time since i've posted screenies, but i've been working on the old Dukeys Railway if anyone remembers any screenshots or threads about that as far back as 2005... Anyway decided to finally attempt to finish it by updating it to TS12 using all the things i've learnt in the years along with better assets and the like..

Prob never get finished again, taking me days working on one baseboard to get used to what im using, suppose it'l be faster once i've got to grips with the things i'm using.

Anyway a few shots from when I get bored and see what it looks like when driving.

Duchess reverses out of the stabling point..

I hope to get a part of the route finished and intend to have fully setup activities to run along with some where you can watch the action unfold..

Hope you enjoyed my shots and I hope theres still people around who remember the legend that was Dukey! Forever living in Trainz :)
