UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Was it on exchange trials with the Midland Region? 21t Hoppers and a maroon Signal Box, Tut Tut... :hehe:

Nice shot though...:)

Cheers

Chris

I have to confess that I have an M7 on the Settle & Carlisle route at the moment, pretending to be a Stanier 2P. Naughty, I know, but it's too good a model not to use it.

Hey pfx, it's a long way from the Kyle of Lochalsh but looking good though.

Rob.

Only a few hundred miles. I need to look at something other than Kyle though!!! Still farting about with that 66 for you too. Need to iron out a couple of problems before I upload it.

@ ex - ChileanLlama created the route and gave me permission to do the reworking.

Oh dear, I wish I had never suggested it now but I really do appreciate the work and time you've put in to this so far. If there is anything I can do for you please let me know (me not requesting the impossible/improbable would probably be a good start!):o

Thanks ever so much,:Y:

Rob, it's not a problem at all. I enjoy doing it and it's satisfying seeing something I've done being available for anyone to use (perhaps it's narcissistic? Hehe). Your request was certianly not impossible and was an interesting notion to boot.

Yeah, I know that Chilly did the original map, it's just that Auran never used to allow folks to tweak built-in maps as they were sort of considered Payware, and you couldn't then re-release them openly on the DLS, I was refused twice for permission to upload routes I'd converted, so, I never bothered again, wasting my time and effort, it's one reason why I left the game last year.

Good luck with it anyway, pfx.

Oh right. Well perhaps I'm completely wasting my time then. : | I didn't think it would be an issue as there was a version 2 of the Glasgow Falkirk route. Not sure that any of the mods would visit this forum as we're generally well bahaved but I would be interested to hear the N3V view on this one.

Hello pfx,

Yeah, the Glasgow - Falkirk was re-uploaded again by Rob Shaw, who works for Auran/N3V, I think it was to bring it in line with the newer versions of Trainz, along with some other older routes that he put onto the DLS in April, as it dates back to 2005 originally.
I would send them an e-mail and ask if they have changed their policy matey, you never know they might say Yes.....

Good luck.

Harcort merged 2 routes together a while back, one of them being rosworth vale and had no problems uploading them to the DLS. Can't see why this would have changed now.
