UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

I have no idea what it is but all I know is that it's nowhere near the completion stage.

I need to add the doors, refurbish textures, add lights and equipment and so on...

See? Is GMAX really that hard? Now watch out for where you place the attachment points because you can get some strange results, they MUST BE placed in the TOP viewpoint.

As for doors, try booleans, most people don't recommend them as they can make a mess and you will need to do a lot of cleaning up, but it can be done. Windows can be made the same way. As for imitiating glass, look at the "opacity" setting in the material editor, you can then add seats, partitions, passenger points and the like.

Changing subjects slightly:

Shows what you can do with an existing desgin to change it, improve on it and because its recycling, its also good for the enviroment. You may not understand the last one, unless you have listened to a certain Radio 1 DJ.

Another trainz builder in the making , great work Scratchlight keep at it .
Once you've learnt how to use Gmax the world becomes your oyster :D

A couple of shots from Midshire version 4 ....

Apart from the doors, my first project, a fictional train is coming along a bit...

Hi nexus, I was just wondering how you got the FTPE livered train, the ones on railwaves don't have that livery?

Is it a reskin?
Nice shots all, just to let you know my latest route, the west penine railway, which I showed several pictures of is now released.

Yes it's Davido's , whats so funny about me using it ?

It's concrete sleepers with pandrol clips and it's standard gauge 4ft 8.5in or 1435mm and matches UK track .

It's no different to Queensland trainzers using snowsignals UK catenary as it's matches a lot of the equipment that is used in that state !
