Should we know that scarecrow ??

Great shots as always Lewisner. Is there a bit of self portrait in the scarecrow that we see or am I way off the mark ??

The Class 43 above was made by Nexusdj, however he never released this because JN114 was working on a new and improved HST set, and kindly asked Dave for his help with the livery's, which at the moment is still being completed.

I believe once the HST set has been completed, Nexusdj will then be painting them in various livery's, GNER may be one of them.

Peter Hicks has made an excellent GNER HST set, here is the link... http://peterdhicks.co.uk/trainz/gner.html
(Please Note: Peter Hicks GNER set is a Beta version only)

Hope this helps

A few more. These are WIP. Trying to get a feel for redundant rail infrastructure as my last lot also show.

I'm following madtrainz 10 rules (well, most of them) for this route but this is only board three afte 6 weeks work. Goodness knows how he's managed so many boards in such short time?

Sorry if I'm over posting and getting a bit boring.

Some cab views of my first 3 boards outbound from the terminus.

Hi British Trainzers.

Thanks magickmaker, for sort of starting a little theme.

Here are a couple of screenshots from a route I am working on, English Southern Coast. A brief run down:

This route is set in the 1940's era, with the southern coast of England under constant attack from Nazi Germany's Luftwaffe. Here you can expect to find hordes of Spitfires and Hurricanes chasing Bf109 fighters away from the British mainland. (I'm only saying that because no-one has made an He-111 yet:hehe: )

Anyhoo, now to the screens...
England1.jpg

The charming seaside town of Bournemotuh-on-Sea. There is a memorial on the left and a jetty/pier on the right where the sailboats are.

England2.jpg

The old AA service station in the main street, back when they actually gave service.

England4.jpg

And finally, a trio of Hawker Hurricanes flying in "vic" formation after completing a patrol. Their base is a few miles west of here.

Happy Trainzing from Down Under,;)
Scott.

One of the details, that you would notice if you ever get a chance to run the route, is that there's a handful of cars and trucks ready to go to the crash scene. They're all lined up on the old abandoned UP line. The way I figured, it only made sense that since the plane would have crashed so close to the railroad, for the military to use the old abandoned line to get there. If you look closely you'll notice a bulldozer (for pushing trees aside) water tankers (in actuality petrol tankers) crews, and the fence has been cut.

Great shots everyone!

Some more from the Saltash area:

TamarValley01.jpg

A class 153 has just passed over the Royal Albert Bridge running a service on the Tamar Valley line. This section used to be on the old L&SWR mainline and was of double track, hence the reason for the bare section to the right of the now single track.

Saltash11.jpg

Wessex Trains 158860 Isambard Kingdom Brunel calls at Saltash.

Saltash10.jpg

Wessex Trains 150263 The Exmouth Avocet arrives at Saltash having just crossed the Royal Albert Bridge.

Saltash09.jpg

And lastly a view of Saltash from the quay side at St Budeaux. If you look closely you will see a FGW HST in Barbie livery crossing the bridge.

Mark,

Great shots as always. I always like seeing your work as I know the area well from many holidays and can always find something familiar in your screenies.
