UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

the singwriters?? Please, give us a clue. Should that read signwriters? You need to check your own spelling before picking on others.

The person I pointed out the original error out to was able to take my observation in the way in which it was intended (i.e. in a friendly way) and I was genuinely unsure if Secound was maybe a fictional company name. Not that I should have to justify myself to you.

Hmm, am I running the only virtual company with its own bespoke stock?

Class 470 (5-car express)
Class 475 (Articulated suburban)
Class 476 (4-5 car suburban)
Class 477 (3-car all purpose. Articulated and non artic)
Class 479 (single car railcar)

All 3rd rail/overhead powered.

Talking of which, heres 4 of them:

Class 476 Left, and Class 477 right.

Inside a Class 476 as it awaits to come off the "Grantchester flyover", with a City to Woolwich branch service (As its known as). Just out of shot onto the platforms this line leads to, is a branch with a 10mph corner and a single line bottleneck. And trains have got stacked up badly before now.

Class 479 railcar, only recently entered service (latest revision, not the one from my site.)

Class 470 render, long distance set. The front end is actually inspired by a Hannover TW2000/TW2500 tram!

the singwriters?? Please, give us a clue to what you mean. Should that read "signwriters"? You need to check your own spelling before picking on others.
Please, that is going a bit too far in nit-picking! We all make mistakes from time to time, so no one is perfect. Even I can pick out a gramatical error you have made in your post quite easily. And now mine, hence the big red pen of doom.
If some individuals make a reasonable attempt to spell correctly on this forum, we would not have the correctness bickering going on. To be honest, there are ways to tell if someone bothers or someone that just simply doesn't. All it takes, is to look at their post history to find out. (See quote below)

@ WEN, Quite possibly. I would do the same if I had the time to learn GMAX. Reskins will have to do in the meantime. Ho hum.

You wouldent be alone if i knew how gmax worked.
GMAX is not that hard to learn. If you are scared of GMAX, try this:
  • Open up a new window.
  • Click on the "Box" button.
  • Then in the perspective viewpoint, click and move your pointer to draw out one part of the box.
  • Click and move the pointer to draw out the height.
  • Click again and volia, you have sucessfully made a box in 0.25s.
  • Rinse and repeat, try the other buttons as well.
  • Look at the controls at the bottom right as well, the circle creates a yellow circle in a viewpoint. However, if you hover your mouse over one of the 4 squares, then click and hold, you can move your viewpoint around.
Are you scared now?

As for time, well, you could do that in less than 10 minutes when you work GMAX out. :)

NOTE: This post make contain very subtle hints. And yes, my post is NOT perfect, do not pick out any spelling mistakes or gramatical errors, I will sort them later.

EDIT: Happy now robd? If you aren't, get your own red pen out and mark where you think I need to be corrected.

Is it meant to be Secound or should it read Second? Perhaps you're trying to avoid copyright infringement? Sorry, I'm a pedant so I need to know... :D

I'm a pedant also, it appears that you pulled up Hope5 about a spelling mistake and then immediately after, posted a spelling mistake yourself!

Do dual standards apply?

Such a pedant that you included 2 errors in your own post decrying mine (apologies for using a fragment there). Well done. As I said, I don't have to justify myself to you and I don't think I can simplify my previous explanation any further, with or without a clue.

Now perhaps, instead of the negativity prevalent in so many of your posts on the forum, you could offer something positive to this thread. How about starting off with a screenshot in the screenshot thread? Failing that, don't bother posting at all.

Can we give this spelling bit a rest please? Like others I misspell things from time to time. It is usually the result of typing too fast. This Forum is about Trainz.

Cheers

AJ

That livery with the birds on is crackin' WEN

That is the Sussex Rail Standard livery, I've been toying with the idea of using suburban and mainline liveries. But, SxR Standard seems to end up on every item of stock.

If you notice, you'll see a silhouette of Chichester Cathedral and out of sight on the DMCO, is another silhouette of a surfer and a graphic of the Spinnaker Tower in Portsmouth.

It gives you an idea where the line intends to operate, however, I am looking for more landmarks to stick on the side of the other 3 cars. Should that be radars and HMS Victory? What would you think of in West Sussex and Hampshire in terms of landmarks?

One of these days I'll give it a bash WEN.

Darklord, what is the ground texture in this pic??

Jamie

Spell-checked it twice

I believe it comes as new ballast or ballast new, but a little trick i use to make the textures more realistic is to make the scale as small as possible and hold "[" or "]" this rotates the texture and if you move circle it does it kinda random

the grass is one of the many under the name of JVC
