UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

IF you want a 5* screenshot thread start one up !!!
Perhaps the best way to show what can be done, would be a "Trainz Showcase" thread where only the moderators or the guys at N3V can select the best screenies for display.
Maybe the monthly top 20 best screens could be displayed on the Trainz home page, just a thought
I have suggested just that & more. It's something for N3V to seriously consider, your screenshots would definitely be a regular in the top 20.
Its no use for me to start one, i would have no control over what was posted, it would have to be a moderated selection of the best only from all screenshot threads.

I've been playing about with some of the track available for 2010, to try and get a more realistic look. What do you think?

Awesome screenies by everybody esp. Marky, Madtrainz and Ekin. Here's Sid the porter examining his gardens at Settrington station.

I think we would see madtrainz14 in there quite a bit if there was!

Meanwhile, back in commuter land...

A 6 car class 639 leaves light for the yard.

pfx, I love the livery on your coaches, its quite a bit different to the norm. Have you tried augmenting the 369 to 4 coaches or have you reconfigured the seating layout?

Madtrainz14 , Its good to see some really great screenshots like yours. Properly textured & landscaped, unlike some that have been posted here lately, (despite friendly advice on how to improve them)..:'(

Paul, its an art, that takes time to master. Its a bit like 3D modelling, that takes days, months or even years to master. Anyway, back to what I wanted to post:

With more detail than you can extract out of 10 of a certain creators coaches...

And one layout I've been messing around with (and this is in TC3, which is also on a portable USB stick - so I can keep the directory in sync on my eee and desktop.

151001 performs the honours for the passengers... (I really need a little blue 3-Door MK1 Renualt Clio 1149cc D7F RN Versalles car by the line - with a looney driver in the front, with the number plate of P994CPG..... trainzluvr37deltic will know what I mean.. :) - and to sort the floating cows. )

It took me long enough to learn the concept of grades, like going up and down... up and down.... up and down.... up and down.... (Why oh why do I have that tune in my head at the moment?)

Freightliner 66's appear to be rather popular at present.

Thanks WEN. It's in a semi-complete state at present. All the colours are pretty flat though I started to weather the front end as you can see. I've also started adding some more details by way of panels, roof ridges, door buttons and the like but that's all in 2D. I have a mixed EMU/DMU fleet all in similar livery for my fictional line.

Alas, I haven't progressed beyond reskinning at present and I just don't have the time to start. Such a pity as I have a head full of ideas which I would like to see. I'll get round to GMAX one of these days...

That 151 looks like the business. Think I'll DL that and add it to the fleet. Great shots too.

There on the DLS

Search for concrete cable run and there by greateastern

Can you get the large one to display? I've had them for a while but only the small and medium versions show in driver/surveyor although there is no error shown on the large size.
