UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Class 47 clags past the overgrown carriage sidings alongside Breydon Water on the outskirts of Great Yarmouth before heading out across the marshes:

As i'm building Darlington Bank Top and its former branch lines. Mainly from memory of the early 70's as a child. I just couldn't resist creating the now gone Darlington Steam Sheds. Even though I was to young to remember them.
The coal staithes are Darlington Power Station.

Madtrainz14 , Its good to see some really great screenshots like yours. Properly textured & landscaped, unlike some that have been posted here lately, (despite friendly advice on how to improve them)..:'(

Hear, hear!

There are a lot of young people who use Trainz as simply a game. As well as the more serious user. Trainz is something different to each user. There for, I really don't think its your place to say what is and what isn't!!

There will be many young people who are very proud of what they have achieved and there for want to show it off. It may not be up to a high standard. But what does it matter. I'm quite sure many young people see all the amazing screenies posted, and see them as something to aspire to. And in the mean time should always be encouraged and not have they work put down!!!!:p

Oh Heck, please don't start another mult-page argument about quality of screenshots guys, I struggled to keep up with the last one!

Regards,
Phil

They worked very well indeed :)

Can I asked where you got those stone wagons from as they look very TASTEY :) Thanks in advance

Am sure they do, but as i said in my post, i have given friendly advice, but so far its not been taken. Some quality creators post their screenshots, but with no hint's for new users on how to achieve similar results, at least i do try.
I too have been given, & accepted advice on how to improve my work, it seems that some don't want to better themselves.
Trainz is capable of some amazing results in the right hands, outdoing all the other rail sims.
Perhaps the best way to show what can be done, would be a "Trainz Showcase" thread where only the moderators or the guys at N3V can select the best screenies for display.
Maybe the monthly top 20 best screens could be displayed on the Trainz home page, just a thought

Do you think my DB 66 one is good? Just trying to get an idea of what is "good" and what is maybe not so. :)

Its a very good station shot. As i have said the problem with many screens on here lately is a total lack of good ground texture,( if any) & landscaping, ( trees, buildings, etc) when its so easy to do with just a little practice.

Here we go again !!!!!
Trainzers of all ages have different skills , some take on board criticism others care not to . I've seen folks who have difficulty building routes turn out beautiful reskins and buildings .

THIS thread is open to ALL regardless of there abilities . Comments like the above scare off newbies and established trainzers ...... we all have to start somewhere !!!!!!!

IF you want a 5* screenshot thread start one up !!!

I understand were you are coming from, but it may be perhasps they are works in progress, or, as I find, after I completed a section, I normally just can't decide hjow to improve it, even when given advice.
