UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Great shots everyone!

Going back to the year 2005 now:

Liskeard24.jpg

Wessex Trains 150233 named "The Lady Margaret of the Looe Valley", arrives at Platform 3 of Liskeard after running a service on the Looe Valley line.

Liskeard23.jpg

A close up of the side. The original Lady Margaret was a steam locomotive which was owned by the Liskeard and Looe Railway, when the branch and mainline were two separate lines, before the steep gradient section from Coombe Junction to Liskeard was built to link them.

Liskeard25.jpg

A First Great Western Valenta HST in Barbie livery arrives with a Paddington to Penzance service.

Liskeard26.jpg

A double Virgin Voyager on a service from Penzance to Glasgow Central.

Liskeard27.jpg

And two Class 153s, one in Black & Gold Devon & Cornwall livery, the other in Red Heart of Wessex Line livery pause on a Plymouth to Penzance service.

Anyways, this is my 3rd-ish attempt to get the Cross City South line created, and now I've started it again using TransDEM:

Impressive detail in that shot. :)

Sorry to be a pain but if you wouldn't mind could you give me an idea where I could find that concrete/brick bridge, also the overhead girders you're using if possible.

Thanks. :)

The bridge was built up using a few splines and a custom built centre support . I'll replace the whole structure with a custom built one before I release the route to improve the framerates.

The gantries are a mix of custom built splines and supports (slowly appearing on the DLS) and the polish gantry splines available from Chester trainz experiments :http://strony.aster.pl/goosie/jds/trs/ .

If you read the post again in context you will find that I was not ridiculing your post, instead I was making a playfull remark at no-ones expence

(Just realised the whole argument has been deleted! sorry for posting again :o Mads- can you please delete this post also)

Regards,
Phil
