Elbloomo-Colchester looking great! Are you planning to release this?

Emo-Some great work there, as usual. Is this your first steam photo?

Cheers,

"Where did you get the track that the trains on."

It's UK Bullhead by Rumour3.

Type "Bullhead" into the DLS to get it.

#8601, I hate with a vengence that overbridge, I don't know who created it, but it features in quite a few shots, and is way too high, if I had to cross that bridge to catch a train, I'd pay £3.00 a litre & use my own car.
It is totally unreal, it must be at least 20 ft above the roof of any loco or stock using the line.

Do you mean the one in Bernard430's shot? I'm guessing it was intended to be used at ground level rather than on a platform but I suppose even on the ground it would have a "generous clearance"? :(

Yes you are right, they were made for ground level, but the genourous height above was for any overhead electrification that was added to the line, these bridges are still used today, they are mostly grey in colour, and are on electrified lines. I do agree with Blackwatch that the bridge is far too high, I thought the same myself when I saw it. Imagine climbing it, getting to the other side out of breath, to find out there are no seats available on the train.

Hope this helps
