UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

I third that! Photobucket nails it for me. All my pics are still hosted there, never ever had one go missing even months later. Are you registered for free membership and putting your pics inside albums?

Yes Leon, thanks.....I've got close to 13,000 screenshots - 1gb - on one of my accounts in Photobucket, but, I opened another new one, and when I transferred the shots from my folders onto here, sometimes they disappear, particularly the large ones 1024x768. Anyway, I have found another site actually, so after they have acknowledged my registration, I'll give them a whirl.....stay tuned folks.:hehe:

Great shots everyone & a Merry Christmas to all!

Thank you Simon and the same to you and one and all.

Very nice winter scenes, I forgot to do one. Well, it's about time I posted in my thread again, so here is some W.I.P fiction based on fact.

This station fits very nicely under two canopies. You just have to place the platforms accordingly.

Nice shots Dave- your fictional stations always have a very real quality to them. Many thanks also for starting the definitive thread for those with UK interests- this is always the first place I look after logging on.

Re the 47- thanks everyone for the kind comments and questions. I'll attempt to answer them here.

Firstly, I would like to remind everyone that the main mesh is mostly Tom Green's (Tommylommykins) work, very generously released in source form to the community. I intend to follow in this spirit by freely allowing re-skinning/improvement/re-release, with appropriate credits. In answer to the question about liveries, I intend to do a blue, Stratford silver roof and possibly a green variant but if anyone wants to do anything else that's fine by me. Re the 47/7s, I'll have a look at what's needed to offer this as an option. The main problem is the warning flashes on the front, which are in a different position on the 7s, but this isn't insurmountable if I get the time. I might save this up for a second version. I can also remove the buffer cowls fairly easily, so there are plenty of possibilities.

The main thing left to do at the moment is the ETH jumpers option (these will be non-working) and it would be nice to crack the scripting to get surveyor-selected options into driver. (I've read Andi06's excellent tutorial about soups etc. but somehow at this time of year scripting goes in one ear and out the other- probably too much Laphroaig...:o )

Season's greetings all

I've been having a little play on Gam's newly released layout called Crudley, I know he'll come and have a look, so, I'll tell you that I've added a few scenery items, but, I'm sure he won't mind......

I'm using a new webhost, so, hopefully they will come out OK, and don't disappear either......:hehe:
Thanks to fileave.com for the free hosting, well, I think it's free, they certainly aint asked me for any money yet....:p

46035: Where can I get my hands on that great track please??:udrool:

Great shots everyone!

phil

It can be found on this site - http://www.vias3d.net/web/

There are several different kinds available, but make sure that you download the 1435mm versions, and NOT the 1668mm ones, as the UK gauge is 1435mm.....using the 1668mm track will put the wheels of your UK trains in the central ballast of the track!

You need to register to the site in order to download stuff. Then, work your way through the links on the left hand side, and eventually you'll find what you want. Register with a Username (top box) and then your email address (bottom box) and they will then send you a secret password to your email address, which is obviously worth saving somewhere.

Then, simply log in to view the content which can be found in: "Descargas > Trainz". Download as applicable ;)

Cheers,
Ben.

For those of you less educated, that's a real livery which is worn by 56312 on the mainline at the moment!
