UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Liam

Some nice shots Liam, and I see you have used the shrubs spline...

Of course my Tintagel and Camelot aren't really the actual thing, there is no Tintagel station nor indeed Camelot, the latter doesn't exist!

But I felt if they were to be made they had to be very different from my normal practice of creating stations and the surrounding areas.

Yes, Tintagel has some very steep rocks, I have also been there, but many moons ago when I was young, daft and in my early twenties.... probably about fifty or so now.

Enjoy your route making.

God bless all Trainzers,

Angela

Wow great camera box thingy wen

Driver Only Operation monitors Josh. You usually see them at the small stations on the suburban lines in South London and Kent. As their name suggests, they are for driver only operation (where there isn't a guard to control the doors), the monitors are linked to cameras that are on poles on the platform, usually 4 to cover 8 cars (And the perception is a lot different too!). I've hung mine on some lamp posts and the station has 3 per platform.

Now, these are just some stills I took in Trainz and modified them in Photoshop, my next challenge would be to make them work, oh that will be nice, seeing my train in the monitor as I bring the thing to a halt. (Then we can steal Microsoft's title of "As real as it gets! :P")

EDIT: Damm it, I was looking for a prototype and couldn't find one and the cameras are mounted incorrectly.

Enjoy your route making.
Thanks, I will :)

WEN, Since the route I'm making is based in South London and Kent, will you be releasing these monitors? They will fit well on the suburban stations I'm making

And congratulations on getting the 5000th post :D

Already sent to the DLS, I "released" them from the preview area yesterday.

Woah, that was a steal, 5000th post is waffle!! LOL (And it didn't occur to me that I nicked the 5000th post.)

The branch almost immediately crosses the canal. Rail connected dairy in the background.
