UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Hi Ciaran (Harcourt) This has happened twice when i have downloaded the UTA route, Upon finishing the download and commit it, I have a missing kuid, it's 999:999. I looked on the DLS but had no joy. Had to download twice now happily running trains on it then my system popped up with a fatal error, and did everytime i clicked on the route. I don't suppose you have any idea do you.

Splines

Hi Ciaran,
Don't worry about the canopy, I am sure we were only pulling your leg. It was a very minor point on an excellent route. A big well done for that.

It's 'Murphy's Law' that any mistake made will be picked up by all and sundry, and I have made plenty of mistakes myself, so am in no position to shout about other people's.

Angela

Some intercity shot's from back in the day. Loco hauled trains are a very rare sight on this line today being taken over with DMU's.

Where did you get that FSR 90?

they're my favorite locos, all 3 of them :D

thanks

The 90 looks to me like it's the payware version available from railwaves but as they are quite a bit (a lot ) behind the times that particular skin is not available, I would most probably say it's one of his own excellent Re-skins.

Nope, it's Dubstar's 90! And yes, a truly excellent reskin.....I've just completed a reskin of it too (ONE Anglia blue/black with NEX branding) :)

AFAIK Dubstar gave permisdsion for skins to be passed round *but* I could be wrong so please don't quote me.

Nice shots all, especially Nexus and Harcourt, Harcourts shots have a nice atmosphere to them I think.

That East Anglian shot reminds me of a spot just off the A11 near Saffron Walden, where the road splits and one part goes over the Great Eatern Line and the other goes under.

Any chance you could tell me the KUIDS of that One set please?

After lurking for a year or two, ive come back to Trainz, but in 04 because my 06 disk is fried (curse you Just Trains!).

I've been working on this, its sort of based on Great Eastern/C2C, theres notmuch eye candy in yet, but I hope to make it very detailed eventually.

The 'city' terminus, I tried to make it like Fenchurch street.

2.jpg

Notice AJS's fantastic station kit canopy, however I think I may remove it and put office buildings over the station to givea more 'modern' look.

The other end! I tried to create a Thames Marshes/Fenland sort of atmosphere, with very flat agricultral land with only a few small trees and the odd patch of denser trees occasionally.

This poor chap isn't going anywhere fast!

The local airport, based on Southend's I guess, eventually the line will probrably serve the airport and the adjacent town/ industrial estate (which I haven't built yet, over the other side of the airport.

The terminal, thanks to whoever created the Modular airport objects and splines.

I know there is a lot of scenery and not much Trainz at the moment, and I hope you don't mind me rabbiting on about my creations!

I'd love to hear your opinoins and inputs on my route so far.

Joe. :)

That looks a nice route JShaw, love the Lufthansa Boeing's, not seen anyone use them on a layout before.
Just a couple from me from an old favourite Scottish route with a Class 27 on fully operational steam heating......:hehe:

Razvan, for the Lufthansa jet aeroplane, look on the DLS for kuid 152080:20906.

Hello,

@Jshaw nice screens. But can you tell me where can I get that Airport and those planes?

Thanks,

The terminal objects (and also the runway/Taxiway/Apron, plus some other bits and pieces) are part of MINITRIX's excellent modular airport pack, which can be downloaded here...

Stationbeem: Unfortunately I have no Idea where I got the car from, I think I downloaded it with a route ages ago way back when TRS2004 first came out, All I know is that the name of the object is FIAT and its in a category in my objects list called High Detail Objekts, but I can't find it on the DLS, as im a veteran Trainz noob, does anyone know how to find out the kuID's of an object that you have installed in Trainz? :)

Thanks for your reply. You gave me a clue with "FIAT" I checked the D/S by typing FIAT using the Title search and found it. It is Kuid 68787:25226 By Lotharhake Created 26th January 2005 found under Ultimate Trainz. I loaded the complete pack and it was there. Now I can use my "AA" vehichles. Many Thanks Dave.
