Re: the 90

I really should pay more attention!

I was standing next to my mate when he took that shot of it!

he nearly got a tea soaking!

Well looking at the time now, i should be at the other end at about half 4, thats depending i don't get stuck behind any slow moving wide loads.

08890 gets a transfer to EMR kingsbury ready to be cut up for scrap.

Hayburn Wyke

i rode my bike through there and by the way it was 2 platforms

Hi Josh
Are you sure you aren’t thinking of Staintondale Station?
As best as I can ascertain the original SWR station at Hayburn Wyke was on the Up line, opposite that shown in this and the previous screenshot
This was a all wooden structure on very tall stilts built onto the steep banking between the track and the Hayburn Wyke Hotel this closed around 1887 as being totally unsafe, the shot here depicts my interpretation of the new station from the Station masters house garden
I can find no sign of the original structure on photographs taken around 1903 and later shots all show trees growing right up to the line edge
Please don’t get me wrong here as all constructive comments are very much appreciated

Staintondale

hehe :), planning to make a large pack release. TC3 is slowing things a little as some items have errors in TC3 and have just been ironing them out. Want to get as much on the DLS as possible.

Trackplate, Hayburn Wyke never had 2 platforms but I think its worth mentioning that the signalbox was a very early closure, before 1923 at least.

Commie, your reskins are breathtaking, looking forward to your next release......:mop:

I did want to ask all you guys out there in re-skinning land, if someone could do a scrapped diesel loco or two, preferable in BR Blue, you know something like a Brush 4 or an 08 shunter, there's virtually no BR corporate blue scrap locos available on the DLS, and I'm sure they would be most welcome for our British layouts.

Thankz and cheerz.

I more then tend to agree, as I said in my last post the platform and station building on the opposite side of the was deemed unsuitable and replaced as shown around 1887
I’m pleased you mentioned the signal box, for some reason it reminded me that the station never had electricity so back to covering those power box’s up with something suitable

You'll be pleased to know I have several completed "scrap reskins" in BR liveries featuring classes 37, 87 (another one), 86 and a "scrap" mk.1 coach. I should be releasing loads of stuff very soon, so keep your eyes peeled on UK Trainz and in the freeware section of this forum, plus this screenshot section too. Will try and post some shots of upcoming "goodies" soon :) (not including Bill Oddie, by the way)

Good news Ben, looking forward to your items.

I just got the unbranded version of the SR 949 0-8-0 error free for TC3. It's just uploaded to the DLS tonight. 1 down, too many more still to go.
