UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Great shots everyone!

A Class 153 passes Lodge Farm Crossing on its way to Looe.

Double headed 37s power toward Brewery Junction with a loaded MGR bound for Carronhead Power Station

A 47/8 workhouse gathers speed as it sweeps through Mason Rise out of the city and toward County Killearn with the airport and ferry passengers bound for the mainland

A Voyager is spotted from the city walls on test as it passes over the roof of Barrington Market. the low level commuter line that passes directly through the city can be seen in the foreground

Finally, for this post, a view of Abercarron St. Vincent Square, the southern terminus of the mainline.

Plenty more where they came from, as I improve and super detail various locations on the route.....

Dont forget the straighten tool on that section of track! haha.

Nice shots all, Nexus, I cant wait to see what else you can do with TANE

Aye, track straightened!...Did not notice the curve until I posted the photo.....I spend so long in surveyor with spline circles and points indicators I frequently miss the minor details...but after all, this route is one perpetual WiP.....in the meantime, here are some more....

Thunderbirds are Go as a 57/3 drags a forlorn Pendalino into the Terminus passing the Electric depot and soon to be demolished carriage sidings

Some scenery work away from the tracks including:

Westcross High Street

....and a spectators view as you descend the steps from the bar to take your seat once more at the county game....can you taste the warm beer?

Finally, the long abandoned stabling sidings on the low level line as it emerges alongside the mainline just north of the terminus....

Excellent route :) But just a minor thing in your abandoned sidings, you should consider replacing regular Bullhead with Rusty Bullhead track, and paint the terrain underneath a frosty fern green. This will add more to that dilapidated, untouched feeling.

Can I ask where you got the platform from? Cheers
James

James,

That is constructed from nexusdj's platform surface <kuid2:45317:102245:1> and the platform edge is a separate asset <kuid:283805:37004> platform edge safety slabs and line which is a reskin by tmz06003,

Fairly sure they are both on the download station, I get almost all of my assets (like most) from there.

Ron,

Cheers for the feedback, will try out the texture you suggest, have been experimenting with blending texture and asset splines to make realistic undergrowth since the heady days of Trainz 2004 (when I changed computers I forgot all my old account details....) the track in the foreground is Bullied as I was intending to use the yard throat but then spread the undergrowth across the entire yard...the rest of the yard is just overgrown trackbed or Bullied rusty, I will amend on my next session.

Current "Slartybartfasting" has my attention turned toward the golf course between the beach and the airport runway and the major freight exchange yard and container exchange yard to the north of the depot before the line breaks out of suburbia and away from the city. I keep telling myself once I am out of the city the scenery building will be quicker.....*rocks on his haunches repeating phrases as he realises he has allowed his imagination to grow a route far bigger than the amount of freetime he can allocate to building it......AGAIN*

Here is a screenshot as a 150 slows round Nethercott curve toward the station stop

I've reskinned tmz06003s and Warbos excellant 57/3 model into Network Rail livery.

Away from its usual Southern Region stamping grounds, 57301 runs through Glauceston International with a test train. On the excellent Midshire Mainline route.

With it's Dellner coupling extended, 57303 is about to couple to a stricken Class 377 at London Bridge.

Coupled up and ready to drag the 377 to Selhurst for further attention.

The two screenshots above were taken on my Central London Line route, the Class 57 can be found on the DLS or on my website.

In celebration of Trainboi1's new LNER V2 locomotive, as weathered by my own fair hand:

Another Reskin I've been working on for a while, it's getting close to the stage of release soon.
The original author Strings has granted permission for this to be released.

"BR Collett Goods No. 2264 rolls onto Fletaher Viaduct with a 3 carriage local passenger, in the distance GWR Manor Class No. 7809 Childrey Manor is going the maximum speed across the viaduct, 50 mph, with an express train."
