UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Thanks all.

Hotgrove, your bearings are probably fine, it's my execution that is a little off. While James73 has produced a good number of Glasgow specific buildings, I'm just using generic office blocks and other bodges to try to fill out the city centre and trying to cover a fairly wide timescale. I think the one you're referring to would be what is Novel student flats on the corner of Cathedral Street and North Hanover Street, Townhead being directly beside it.

Cheers,
Innis

Class 25070 waiting for clearance with a short rake of Prestwin wagons.

Thanks to dundun92 for these great new wagons.

As a bit of a follow up to post 18836, I've filled out the scenery north of Queen Street and I'm happy that I've now achieved enough clutter to give a fairly realistic view.

Class 101 looking superb!

Rob.

Absolutely agree Rob, it's coming on great and I think it's going to be a very popular release. Now if I could only persuade him to turn his attention to a class 114 Derby heavyweight!

I might be doing a class 114 soon. Of course, it would be a 'Sketchup lash up job', nowhere near as good as what can be made in Blender by dundun92 but better than nothing, given that not many Trainz users attempt such things!

I would like to do a class 103 Park Royal dmu as well...sometime!

Rob.

That sounds great Rob. He's pushing the boundaries in terms of what can be done with Trainz models, but that shouldn't put off creators who are producing more traditional, simpler models. And this is also of benefit to those working in earlier versions of the game or with lower-end PCs/laptops. So I would go for it!

An interesting 'what might have been' - the 07.35 Newcastle to Poole recorded on a bright June morning in 1976, just south of Tibshelf on the Great Central mainline heading towards Nottingham.

We can dream!

Great shots all.

One taken from the north portal of Queen Street tunnel, having added all the buildings on the right. After doing so, I exited surveyor without saving... The perils of being able to switch between surveyor and driver on a whim.

Without even reading the text i recognised it.

I use the shuttle service from Anniesland to Queens street on a regular basis......well done.
