UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Mid 19th century railways can be very addictive. SER Crampton of 1851 by Robert Stephenson.

Nice shots all!

@PortLineParker The trampolines in my pic are actually my own, and having had a look at the ones hotgrove suggested they coincidentally look very very similar! I only ever intended mine to be a background placeholder until I either found someone else's or I finally got round to upping the detail on mine - it doesn't look great up close.

Also loving the work on Swanage so far, could recognise that from a mile away!

Meanwhile, on a different heritage railway...

Ok, you'll have to pretend a bit with that last one...

Edinburgh & Glasgow railway Cramptons from the circa 1848 batch. I'm finding post 1900's era modern image trains to be a bit boring at the moment.

Excellent shots all!

@thisischeese, Great shots, Epping Ongar if I'm not mistaken? Never been myself but had a gander at the stations a few times over the years. Yours looks very close to the original!
Thank you for your kind words about Swanage, it's a surprisingly complex little project but one that I am absolutely loving - it's been on my to do list ever since I got TRS2006 about 10 years ago!
As for the trampolines, the ones currently on the DLS look fine, but yours look much better from a distance. I haven't seen yours up close, but even them I'm sure they still look superb.

Great shots all.

A quick update on Swanage station:

Managed to find some yellow boxes (cross hatching by stationmistress) for the bus zone, just makes it look that bit more realistic! Having said that, ignore the floating pavement!

I'm currently working on Swanage town and Corfe Castle itself (if anyone knows of any castle assets or similar please let me know! I'm having real difficulty modelling Corfe!) I'll hopefully post some shots later today of Swanage itself so you can see how it's coming together.
Cheers,

I know that’s how the shed looks in real life but does it have to be small? I’m not just referring to in game either: the real shed looks way too small for the number of engines Swanage has!

@hholdenaz
Swanage was/is only a branch line terminus, so only one small tank engine would ever be allocated there at a time. While Swanage does have a much higher number of locos now, space is obviously an issue and while I'm sure they'd like all of their engines to be under cover, it's simply not possible at present. Plus the shed looks rather charming I think.

@kotangagirl
Thanks for that, it's taking a lot of time and effort but it's coming together!
Cheers,
