UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Yes, agreed, the quality of screenshots in this thread never fails to amaze me. Well done all.

With a substitute tender due to non-availability of the regular one, BR Mogul 2-6-0 76079 heads a holiday relief along the Kilderdale branch.

Oh no! An American is here!! Quick! Hide your families!!

I make myself laugh.... Anywho, everyone's screenshots are absolutely amazing! Nice work, everybody. I'm trying to get into UK Trainz, and I'm looking for nice UK routes and trains, preferably steam-era. Does anybody know where I can find some?

Thanks,
Matt

Many thanks for the recommendation! Also, try Angelah (#87158); driver_col (#149790); lord-claud-hamilton (#254397); nexusdj (#45317); pfindley (#351596); ray_whiley (#275817); razor (#78778); tmz06003 (#283805) amongst others.

The weathered J39s have been released to the DLS by John Whelan. Here's a seasonal example of the class on the Lavenham route:

There are six examples - get them now from the Download Station!

Network Rail Class 37 at Russell Square carrying out signalling tests and about to switch ends, I was genuinely carrying out signal tests, to see if I had set up the feathers and route indicators correctly on the subsurface section of my route, so I thought I would take the ol camera along.

Hi, I'm trying to find out the answer to a couple of screenshot posting questions . Can you tell me how does one go about getting better resolutions for screenshots!?. Is it a video card issue!? or something else!?. I'd also like to know of how a space between text or caption inserts is achieved, without the need of a horizontal line with said space!?.Any help with either of these queries would be appreciated. ;) Firemanflyn

I think the screenshot generally looks the same as the game, so resolution issues are down to your game which can be changed via the options menu on the start up page. You can also edit screenshots in software like Gimp2 to give it some crazy effects but I've never got round to doing it (I suppose I should have a go though). Hope this helped somewhat :)

SO much inspiration, every time I look at this thread I spend hours here.

Please check out my new Blog, on my Strathspey Railway Project (and everything else i'm working on). More screen grabs to see. link: TAL Strathspey Railway

I'm making some progress now, and will be looking to release the section Advie-Blacksboat very soon: Here's a few images!

The local passenger service passes a rural crossing, part of the Speyside Way walkining route (obviously, re-routed since the track is still in place)

The Local service leaves Royal Advie Station, toward Ballindalloch

Please, do follow, and let me know any ideas/tips you have. I occasionally need help finding specific assets too.

Anyway, keep up the good work all!

Great shots Tom, for the field crossing have a look at "Paso entablado Via MagoZato" ( kuid:86311:205700 ) - it is a track attachment crossing with realistic timbers and check rails. "Board Walk v4" (kuid2:68236:23060:5) - spline with realistic worn sleepers. This shot of an 08 and 2 x 03's on a Dolomite train from Hylton Quarry at Ford Works might seem unlikely but I have a photo of such a train, sadly in a book and not online!
