Sorry to trouble you Casper but whose trees do you use generally? And in particular the large one left of the bridge?
Hello.

No trouble at all.

I use trees from quite a few different creators. I reckon the top 80% which I prefer are by just three excellent contributors: trunda, dmdrake and jankvis, the last two have plenty on the DLS and on their own sites, but Trunda, sadly, has only placed 10 uploads on the DLS.

The tree to the left of the bridge is a Trunda asset: G:Tree 27 – horse chestnut 23 m <kuid:71619:22327>, but it’s not one of the DLS ones. Trunda has made four horse chestnuts. The queried one has a slightly more reddish tinge and stands out nicely against surrounding vegetation. I might have “planted” one above the other for extra height in that shot – I can’t check at the moment ‘cos I’m in another route doing the Alps!

Most (?all) of the Trunda vegetation is available on the TrainzDepot site and the direct link to the tree in question (amongst the vast number of download pages) is here. It’s included in the Baum-Set1 .zip file which is the third one down the list.

There are several other Trunda packs included on that, and subsequent, pages. Well worth a browse if you’re interested, and so are all of the non-nature categories in the TrainzDepot site.

Cheers
Casper

Thanks for that and especially the link to the Trunda page which I thought I had found awhile ago but it must have been his old site because the trees didn't download.

WOW! Some of the screenshots I'm seeing are enough to make mouths water! :udrool: If anyone can remember my route I was last working on? Anyway its the Rudwell route. I've only just yesterday started to go back onto Trainz after its lengthy spell in the draws as college is basically taking over my social life... Will upload some screenies tomorrow or the day after. The route has now been extended along north passing through the disused station Shirethorpe and I am beginning to piece together the next station. Soon I will extend the route south through 2 stations and then upload to the DLC to see what you guys think :). The towns and scenery for the rest of the route will be added last.

Stunning shots all :)
