Be careful of Train Driver. I have it, tried installing it again last night but some of the rules weren't working, like the token rule, so signals were all staying red. I don't know why, just a bit of a nuisance by the looks of it. Good game if you get it working though, I had it working on my old pc about 5 years ago :)

The hottest day of the year today, so what could be better than a winter landscape?

J39 heads with a southbound freight just outside Lavenham, Suffolk on a freezing early morning in the winter of 1958.

May I ask where you got the Optare Versa from mightyena. Could you send it to me if its yours, sorry if I sound like gimme pig

Hi, the Versa is a model from the sketchup warehouse I converted into Trainz. It's the wrong size as it stands (look at it next to a VW Golf!), but shouldn't be too difficult to resize it to correct proportions.

A couple of shots of the results of the dreaded engineering works; the Rail Replacement bus, and a diverted class 222 flies through Cressy Road station, on a small leafy suburb line:

Hi, it's a personal re-skin of the class 222 DEMU by peterdhicks. The original is on the DLS, in Midland Mainline, East Midlands Trains or Hull Trains livery, search for "222" with Author "peterdhicks".

Wabtec Polgreen

A4 Pacific Osprey was allowed to run the container service to Polgreen terminal as part of the Mallard 75 celebrations

Class 360, being used for driver training in preparation for the TPE electrification, a 350 being modified for 110mph running and a surplus 185 being cleaned (I saw this happening at York when I went to the Mallard 75)

08330 is spied through a gate

2 87's which were due to go to Bulgaria but this was cancelled and they are being restored on original condition

66225 which ,after a numbering error, now sports the number 66255!

A line of ex-Dutch and Belgian Class 66's used during the construction of HSL Zuid (The plain grey ones) and on car trains (the DLC and Opel liveried ones) arrived at Polgreen after working through the tunnel under their own power. After fitting with GSM-R they will be used by Scania Rail on biomass, timber and waste being delivered to Teeford waste incinerator
