I've been playing with Trainz again after a bit of a break.
I know it's a broad gauge Australian loco without vacuum brakes, but it's a really good model of a very attractive prototype! Besides some were built by Beyer Peacock of Manchester :p

What's the route called?

Class 47 305 runs an oil train over the eastern Horbury viaduct in the Castleford direction under a dramatic late evening sky, 17th July 1977.

Hi Williamfj2
Very pleased to hear that you are enjoying the F's! :) They look right at home on the UK layouts... The F176 model should suit an industrial layout quite well as well, since it doesn't have any brakes beyond the handbrake!

Great Shots:D

A Class 92 over the Mitchell Viaduct

A Class 92 from someones back garden with a concrete train.

A 92 and a 313 emerge from the Westward Heath tunnel.

The 92 on a container train.

Looks good! May I ask what route that is in the 3rd and 4th pics?

How did you get the doors working on the 421?

Hi Bhorton

I use the 421 from Tempest - found here..... http://tempesttrainz.site11.com/1_2_Class-421.html

Now I had one of his original DTCL beta's (prior to his upgrade which enabled the headcode).
If you look through the related thread HERE you may even find some of my posts on the matter.

The later version that enabled the headcode came without working doors so Tempest kindly gave me a method for saving his original and creating a clone which means I have two versions of the DTCL.

The MBSO and TSO stock never had opening doors anyway, but I do like to see the doors animate at the station so I stuck with his first Beta and sacrificed the headcodes.

I hope this helps - please post back for any more info.
