No probs , Hopefully pofig's tree range will appear on the DLS eventually .
They are speed trees and sway they like them but the season is fixed so the leaves don't disapear for half the year , which suits my Summer based layouts :D

WOW!

Thanks everyone, I've had my confidence knocked back 30ft today when I found out I failed to get a Platform Assistants job with a local TOC at a nearby station. I almost shedded some tears over it because a lot of people including myself thought it was in the bag and I did soo much work to try and entice them I am the perfect candidate for the job. (Note to self, don't spend 20 hours for a job that no one will appreciate the work you put in - or so it felt.)

However, I am looking at going to their competitors, I don't know if I'll apply for the position yet as I need to sort out if I have the skills in the voluntary position I do, but I'll find out. Which as my dad and myself jokingly said (Graduate management) and if I end up in it (anyones guess) then "wouldn't it be funny? That they would have to have some explaining to do then if someone takes me on as a manager and they refused me a PA and screwed up another position that I did succeed in." (The other position was a train carer which ended up handed out to a contractor......! So you can see why I am not at my happiest. Oh and I was refused a Brighton guards position last year as well.)

So its nice to have some nice comments when I do work hard for these things and I know its taken me like 5 times longer than usual. :(

The 502 is looking superb WEN, how you getting on with the cab ? If you need any interior details let me know. Sorry to hear about your job knockback. Its very disheartening when that happens, had the same happen to me in the 80's.

Sorry to hear of your plight. In my experience a lot of jobs are already earmarked for certain persons, companies just go through the motions of advertising, interviews etc just to be legal and above board.

Don't give up, keep trying and eventually you will get what you want. Good luck with your other applications.

The class 502 looks superb, I look forward to d/loading and installing when it's available.

Rob.

Thanks for the comments. The good news is I've been looking at other positions within the industry and in the process of applying to one at Southern and South West Trains. (That green and blue ball again), I'm also trying to get feedback from Southern and also asking to be considered to other roles. Of which I will ask them as well to work closely with my support worker who has also helped me emotionally through the whole ordeal, which I am just so so grateful for and without his support, I'd probably of given up and done what I have been doing for 4 years, which I've kept a secret because I am incredibly embarrassed by it. That is I've been claiming "Incapacity Benefit with Income Support" for over 4 years and I want to get off it! I always did from day one and this proves how determined I am. Because I suffer from Asperger's Syndrome (which I am completely open about - each sufferer is affected in a different way), I have the support available to help me get the job but there's so much I can do.

I know I should never say this, but the only way I see myself getting a job is by playing some dirty tricks. Looking at direct.gov site apparently shows that I am entitled to "Access to Work" and "Work Trials" if I read things correctly and if I could just do that for 12 weeks with Southern and they offer me the job, I really really would be so so happy.
