UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

A few more of from the Ironstone line at Market Overpound

market_overpound-03.jpg

Again we see the on loan Ex L&Y Aspinal Saddle tank. The locos is working hard climbing the steep bank up to the exchange sidings on the mainline, the line cuts through many fields on its way to the sidings.

The final Push, or should that be pull. Behind the camera lie the Market Overpound exchange sidings, The train is reduced now to a rather stately pace of around 5mph all due to the tough nature of the route.

I want one of those

I just love that Aspinal saddle tank :udrool: . Can I get it anywhere without having TC3 installed. I am sure that I had seen it on the DLS once but can't seem to find it now

I have TC3 and TRS2009 and I CANNOT get most of the TC3 rolling stock transferred to TRS2009.I have asked before but it never works. I feel stupid for buying TC3 as it seems a dead end.

Lewisner the way I was told officially from Auran Zec from the helpdesk infact. Open up your content in TC3 and import it all into 2009then commit and that should be it :)

The exporting went wrong. :-(

Oh yer, its a fowler shunter that you were on about WEn, wasn't it :D
Nope, its something local to me, thats a clue. Thats the loco I intend to build

Thanks for that. As for barns stuff, I'll be keeping it and staying out of the crossfire between barn and yourself!
Rob.
Say what you like, I just don't like Barns stuff as it never looks right. If I am honest, I personally think he can push himself further, but he doesn't seem to want to. I'd be more accepting of barns content if he actually did push himself and produced something that really did look the part. However, thats my personal opinion, yours may differ. For example, the 158 doesn't really look right, the windows are still wrong as the frames stick out way too far and I am still not happy about the size. I am not happy with the fact that he has used a generic photographic texture as the cab front, rather than producing a texture, or modelling the details by hand, which makes the front look awlful. The bogies are still wrong and doesn't feature the correct pattern, etc. I am sure there are loads of other mistakes, but this is the sort of criticism I give and keep getting rejected. (Besides, criticisim is how I make my models and I do invite people to give me harsh criticisim on items I am working on. Besides, I want to work even harder for it.)

I know no modeller is perfect, but its how we push ourselves to model better, if that makes sense.

I have downloaded all of the versions of the 9Fs from the DLS and the updates from the TC3 and 2009 S&C pages and by cutting and pasting files from one version to another based on the errors flagged in CM2 have been able to get them all working in 2009. There is a slight issue with the script for the tenders which flags an error when running in the game (red button in the lower right hand corner of the screen) but clicking OK on the error message allows them to work without a problem. When I get the time I will check the scripts and see whats causing it but they are fine for now. I must admit though that they did take a lot of fixing but once I had done one the rest were pretty much straight forward.

And I don't recommend doing that at all. The 9F's on the DLS are for TS2006 earlier. The 9F's on the TC3 website are specific to TC3 and the 9Fs that are on the S&C Pack website are for 2009 and higher

Grainger1980, awesome screenshots.

I was wondering if you could tell me where you got some of your content;
1. access steps in pic 1
2. yellow fencing on your utility platforms
3. your engineering rolling stock

any advise on the above would be brill

Hi LieLestoSbrat,

I am sure that this is not the best way to do things and I am not being ctitical in anyway by doing so. I do not have TC3 nor the S&C add on for 2009 but love your 9Fs. THe DLS versions work fine in TRS06 but all I could get for 2009 were updates and I was showing missing kuids and missing textures in CM2 (presumeably because they are just updates and not complete assets) so I looked to see what I was missing and then imported similar items from the 06 versions and all works fine. As I said, the only issue I have found is in the script for the tenders, the error message mentions a <NULL> value which I haven't looked into yet.

No offence intended and sorry if any has been caused. Thanks for the content that you have made available to us all, it is all really well created.

Regards, Andy

A Merseyrail class 503 unit call's at Billington, (on my Henderson layout). Hopefully a much better model of these units will be available in the fullness of time

After reading Adadadl's comments I had another crack at the 9F's and have got them into TRS2009 from the DLS where they work fine.
Tankbob, I COULD buy the S&C add-on pack but seeing as I already have TC3 it seems a bit silly to buy something which I already have. In any case a lot of the TC3 (namely anything MR or LMS) is no use to me because of my chosen area of the north east.
Speaking of which here is a 9F bearing down on Coxgreen Junction shortly to join the Leamside Line at Penshaw North Junction.

"Lewisner what road is that your using? As it looks stunning "

It's "regi toredezett, festett" from an external site.

If you put "toredezett" into Title on the DLS there is a pack of this plus two without white lines. A rather nice feature is that it appears to lie on the ground rather than floating above it! :udrool:

Great shots everyone :D

Did this London Midland 150 get lost?

Par10.jpg

No, 150125 has joined the FGW fleet for the summer, and awaits at Par to run the 1142 Par to Newquay service.
