UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Nice shots all:)

Rush hour back in early May 2006 at Cardiff Queen Street, one of the last 150s in Valley Lines livery waits to leave with a freshly repainted Arriva 150 on a Rhymney service while two 142s head a Treherbert to Barry Island service. In the background, 121032 arrives from Cardiff Bay on a test run for introduction in August. 6 months earlier and the 150s would of been replaced with class 37 loco hauled services.

Love the Cornwall shots Marky and I thought you may like to see this shot of St Erth station taken by me during a spot of Hoover bashing 24.6.79

St Erth station is a lovely place, and its a station which hasn't changed much at all over the decades, which is quite rare these days. It still has its semaphore signals, wooden canopies, granite buildings, paved platforms, and metal footbridge. I also like how the bay platform and siding are lower than the mainline platforms, which you don't see much.
Its good to see semaphores signals still survive at various places around Cornwall.

Ah eso you do it again.
Something about your shots is just 'right'.

May I ask what trees and grass you are using?

@Kimmy, I believe its TC3

Heres an old one from my route when it was in TC3 and didn't have annoying issues with grass and transparent crap

Thanks Kimmy, its actually made in TC3 and uses a lot of the inbuilt assets. My comp is quite modest actually, Q6600 quad core, 4Gb RAM, 9800GTX 512mb and a bout 2Tb of HDDs :D (Will possibly be upgrading to an ATi 5770 1GB graphics card today though) It runs ok as most of the detail is close to the tracks and re-uses a lot of similar assets in the distance.

@ Davie; The grass is from... http://www.greenery.name/mstsg/mstsgd.htm?trainz,1
Not sure how it will work with TRS09/10 etc though.

hi eso

my pc is not quite as fast as yours but it does run trainz quite well.

Windows XP Professional (5.1, Build 2600) Service Pack 3

Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 3600+

Memory: 2432MB RAM DDR2

NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430 this is on board though
might have to up date my ram and graghics.

250 gig hdd

Regards jay:)

How funny, I downloaded that grass earlier today to see if I had it. Are the trees also from there? I've been using some of the trees from that page for the past few years now. Shame some are mucked up in TS10 aargh

I use all the greenery content in Trainz 2010 Compatibility mode, it doesn't show up with errors or in red in the surveyor menu, so assume the content must work ok in Native mode too...

I think they are a lower poly, so you can place more on the map without the computer slowing down, the grass is good too...... hang on that sounds all wrong.:o.

Any good weeds. :D

Great shots everyone!

Going back a few years now:

Wessex Trains 150233 "The Lady Margaret of the Looe Valley", has just crossed the Milltown viaduct just west of Lostwithiel.

Mark's last shot

Dear Mark,
Looking at your last shot I noticed in the background a concrete bridge over the railway. If it is LP Roadbridge arch kuid 46162:32007 then I suggest you replace it because that asset is no longer available.
When you try on the DS it gives and external link but that link is no longer valid - Site not found.
Just might save you problems with missing assets later....
This is one I had problems with so became aware of it.
