Cut-off point

I seem to have missed something and am now very confused. Having looked all over the forum and the Auran site I still do not seem to be able to verify when the cut-off point will be when Auran stops accepting Uploads in any version other than their latest, at the moment 2010.

So maybe we all have a about 18 months or so yet. On the other hand I thought it was this year.

Can somebody please put me out of my misery? (Ha ha ha)

Okay, and thanks. 2004 will end this year, I thought it did, which means the next section most likely won't be done in time to Upload in that format, although I am working frantically on it.
But I do have 2010 so should be able to convert and I have a large site onto which I can place a 2004 version, providing I can remember how to do it!!

Mark uses TC3 I think so he's fine until 2012, as he said.

Help merging

Can anybody give Len2480 a hand to merge the two sections in 2010 please, and advice would be helpful.

its sad that trs04 and 06 not being supported after sepember this year because i use 04 all the time. i do have tc3 so i'm fine there also i'v orderd trs 2010. also i'm working on a large route in 04 i'm working on it as fast as i can.

WCL Sections 1 & 2 Merged

I have just sent this new route to the DS, Upload was successful - it said - promises, promises... ha ha ha.

This should take away all the problems folk are experiencing, although I didn't have many at all. The join is now smooth as silk! (Well, almost anyway).
Did three test runs but got chucked out on one and then found I had all Preference sliders set at full, so it wasn't too bad, ran smoothly too.

Hope this will help those who are struggling with the merge.

And like kimmy I am trying to get the next section done before the cut off date, but with a woozy DEM it's looking unlikely. This section runs from before Frome through and out of Taunton.

I only sent it up this morning so it won't be on the DS yet. Auran are good, but I doubt if they are THAT good!

I got the loco from UKTrainsim: it's there under their Trainz section, although the loco is slightly modifided (so was the picture, he he he.)

This is just to say the mergerd version of WCL is now on the DS. Thank you Auran for being so fast, it only went to the DS yesterday, so they and me should have solved the merging problems.

You was close ..... it's actually based on a map of LLandudno Junction but I've raised the supermarket (on the right) up on an embankment instead of it being slightly lower than the line (fills in the area quite nicely) . It's part of a huge layout I'm building for 86207 which ties together quite a few stations/area's from around the UK but without the huge distances in between .
