UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

Have a look at my rework, called Blackheath Downs. Come in 2 track formats too, either Norfolk or VSR.

Angela

And very nice it is too... :

By the way, WCL1 and Blackheath Downs look great in 2010 too, with a nice mix of Speedtrees and much better alpha blending of the tree splines.

Tree splines

Hello Stovepipe,
Thanks for your comments, much appreciated.
Re the tree splines. In WCL2 I am taking as many as possible out, all if I can, apart from forest splines. But the single tree long splies are being replaced with single trees and undergrowth for more realism, mainly Greenery, JVC and FMA grass splines.
I decided to do this after my PC gave up the ghost and I bought this new one and having lost so many assets the search was driving me mad and caused me to look more closely at my work.

Better I think, as this shot shows (can't spell demonstrates!)

Must take a few more shots of recent work...

Thanks to Photobucket for free hosting too....

Very nice ! I wonder if anyone could be persuaded to make one of these units, with working door's & interiors, (& the wirral units too)...

Err.. Where are the Semephores? If you are trying to model off Littlehamptonm you also need to remove the nearest platform. :)

You could always try to model Chichester, or even better, FISHBOURNE! :)

Hint Southbound CC101, Northbound CC102

It would be great to see Chichester to Portsmouth.;)(Look in top right corner)

No, it isn't my own creation. It was made as a Payware Commission by Paul Mace of PAULZ TRAINZ, sorry, I should have pointed that out in the post, but it's such a convoluted process to post a screenshot I simply forgot.

If your interested I believe they are now available on his website

I hate to say it, it just looks wrong, the window sizes are blaring out at me as the wrong sizes, the size profile looks wrong and the lights are completely and utterly wrong, the route display is WAY too big, the roof profile over the pantograph looks way too high, etc. They had plates that swang across. One had a headlight in the plate, not a seperate light.

Interestingly, I had one of these on my workbench, but I only got as far as the body without any extras. If I had some photos, I could get back to it.
