UK Screenshots (Hi Res Version)

TC3

But then again, there's an excellent Black 5 available, lined and unlined, with TC3. I don't know why we're bothering with a five year old model when we have a much better one available for only £20 (plus all the other improvements that TC3 offers).

Why can't UK Trainzers get behind TC3 rather than continuing to flog the dead horse of TRS04?

Just a thought.

Paul

The 'dead horse' is alive and well here.
I did buy TC3 but had so many problems and after a week of trying I gave up, even with the kind help and instructions from several folk and following them carefully, it refused to load content.
I got a whole route in once but the next time I went to open it the route had vanished. I can do without that.
With 04 you just click the kuid and in it goes, simple, no fiddling about with CM2 or whatever it is called and committing anything, in 04 it commits itself.
All my routes are made in 04 and I get few complaints - so far.... ha ha.

So I have tried to support Auran and TC3. Maybe this is why many folk don't?
Okay, 04 may not have so many bells and whistles but it works for me very well so I shall stick with it. I know I am missing some nice assets but for me all that extra work was not worth it.

Good luck to all users of versions after 04, I hope they are what you desire, and that is the important point, if they work for you then that is what you desire.

Bless all Trainzers ( and their Trainz version),

Angela

I think whether or not I reskin the TRS2004 Black 5 is up to two people only- the original creator and me.

Whether I upgrade to a version of Trainz I don't actually need is up to one person- me only.

TRS2004 is definitely not a dead horse, if you want to use TC3 and have the hassle of an upgrade that is entirely up to you, what anyone else does is up to them. By the same token, why haven't you upgraded to TRS2009 when that essentially obsoletes TC3: for the same reason I've not upgraded, I'm perfectly happy with what I have got.

Anyone made a 'NO TIPPING' sign?

For the rubbish, look up 'derelict' or kuids under '68213'

@escafeld- yes that is a very useful new range of 'rubbish'.

By the way, your peak is in serious danger of overheating, where on earth have the side grilles gone!!

Ah, yes, good question. I was wondering why the driver showed and then didn't and then the red lights were lit at the wrong and and such like and now I remember, this is the beta version which was kindly sent to me.

See what I mean --->

The objects allow for rolling, btw.

When will the new Class 31 be available?
Sometime after the 66- the new 31 was my first attempt at Blender modelling and although I'm happy enough with the look of it there are a few things about the mesh I need to revisit in the light of experience.

Gidday Davie, how's it going. Hope life is treating you well these days. You're still pretty good at posting screenies too, very nice.:)

Now that's really nice. Choosing to do it in greyscale really helps place the scene in the period where that kind of engine thrived.

Very nicely done indeed!

Sonne03, simply amazing stuff. I had to look twice too make sure they were not real life shots. Very very impressed.

Cheers
