There aren't any single track lines in Britain that run for 200 miles..you're talking the distance between Southampton and Leeds!

Realistically, single track lines run from about 3 to 15 miles maximum, otherwise there wouldn't be any point in having the line.

The West Coast Mainline has 2-4 tracks and is over 200 miles

Liam explain the Cambrian Coast line That is ver much longer than 15 miles Granted there are 1 or 2 passing loops but its still longer

And i bet you didn't like your commute this morning, if you had too. 2 Hour delays on some services, complete cancellations on others, all because of a fatality at East Worthing.
