Hi folks

I'd like to make a request if I can.

I like modelling vehicles, I'm keen to model some British vehicles, modern and old, prefer the latter.

Basically I'm asking for photographs, the angles are important as that is what I use to skin the vehicles. The photos need to be directly inline and level with the front, side and rear.

I know I sound like a broken record as I request these things all the time. It's just that I am enjoying modelling vehicles and the community does help me in a big way when they can submit photos.

Just to clarify something else, we must be very careful with websites and Terms of Use. Unless it clearly states that photos can be used for modelling, it's best to avoid them.

Thanks to the British community, I'll do my best to give our British trainzers some more of their types of vehicles.

@Colhad/Liam125: I agree, it seems to be very popular over there, unfortunately, Peugeot pulled out of the North American market just before 2000, I think the French saw our economic collapse coming. If you have TS2009, there is a peugeot in there, but we can always use more cars for
-TS2009.

@ex-railwayman- the blue bit of 37401 is UKY901Ys, the rest is mine this time (complicated eh?) You will be seeing lots more yellow nosed class 37s now to use in snowy landscapes, I've just agreed with Pikka how these can be released- and I can now apply snowploughs to any bodystyle.

Anyway, some more OHLE was installed over the weekend, and 3 class 91 sets were on hand to test!

91122 arrives.

82219 brings up the rear.

Another GNER set proceeds Northwards.

The only blue vehicle in this rake was 91128

With 82205 on the rear

does anyone know where I can get an Intercity 91 from?

For all of you who have purchased eldavos Class 92 electric locos, you are aware that they have European catenary height functionality, however, we had a serious problem with the lack of authentic layouts from across the channel to play them on.....Well, I have discovered a whoppingly wonderful layout from France called la route de manon, which is 137 km long and has been beautifully designed with French countryside scenery that has just recently been uploaded to the DLS.
So, for those of you who may be keen to have a run out on this layout, here's some screenies to make you drool, but, as it's such a long route, I cannot possibly do it justice with only 7 shots.....It has countless passenger enabled stations, a few basic industries, major freight yards, a coal mine and a Petrochemical plant to keep you busy.

Well, yes, this is a French route, but, all the signals are set up on the left hand side like ours Louise, I didn't really want to query it, but, well spotted......

Actually, in a lot of countries here on the continent, railroads run on the wrong (left) side. For example Belgium, France, Switserland and a couple Highspeed lines. Here in Holland we use the Right side except on our HiSpeedLine which is under construction. HSL is a lefty due to French/Belgium traffic on the line.

Hello Angela, no, we don't often see a route of this magnitude around, and as the French author has been working on it for years and has used new-ish materials, particularly Vendel's bridges, French country houses, farm buildings, warehouses, et al, these assets have given it such an authentic feel. Having been on trains into the heart of France personally, it truly is like the French countryside and as eldavos Class 92 locomotives are fitted with the right catenary equipt. it would be a disappointment if people were not aware that they can be used on this layout....I have utilised my SNCF trains on here also, it's a work of art, I wonder if he'd do another French route for us, like the Cote D' Azur......:mop:

Eldavo's 92 deserves a round of applause..the cab is just fine
I like the two-tone horn you can operate from it, also from the new Wessex Electric that's just been released!

It's good because my High Speed 1 route I'm building has Euro cantenary height, and UK third rail so both can be used on the same route.

If I ever get as far as London St. Pancras, maybe I could include some UK cantenary height..
