Is there a fictional UK mainline route on the DLS availiable to download. Also I would prefer it to be over 30miles long but I dont mind if its under 30 miles.

There's loads to choose from on the DLS, it depends which version of Trainz you have.....Top UK route creators are harcourt, gamerouche, angelah, puffernutter, hooverman, eso....

The oldest layouts ( UTC/TRS2004 ) may need some upgrading, but, you can choose from ECML South and Central which you can merge together to get the ECML from London Kings X up to Doncaster. Angela created a superb London Paddington to Reading for the WCL, there's also Paddington to Bristol in 8 separate sections which need scenery and trees adding to, which could be fun putting together....You can also look at Along UTA Lines, which harcourt built, it's a superb layout from Belfast to all the towns and cities in Northern Ireland. There's also a few routes set in Scotland, Glasgow to Oban and Fort William / Kyle of Lochalsh and Inverness to Aviemore, all of them are thoroughly recommended, by ME....:hehe:

If you have TS2009, Communist built a superb British layout, find his thread on this forum in the TS2009 section, it's worth downloading also.

Why fictional?

I was wondering why it had to be fictional? There are plenty of routes around and as Ex Railwayman said my own Paddington-Reading section may suit, especially as I am working again on the second section Reading to Westbury. Over halfway along now. Just been putting the ATLS assets on the crossing so HSTs can go hammering through at 125 and the gates will be closed when they get there.

WCL 1

I want something I can race down there from a Class 50 to a Deltic.

WCL 1 certainly has the distance to race anything you want and tacking WCL 2 onto it when I get it done will give a very long route indeed.
WCL 1 will need any level crossings updated to ATLS ones so they closed well before the trains arrive, they will not be with high speed trains if they are not updated, the gates are too slow.
