UK Mail Exchange Net

I have a working TPO system available with carriages for the LNER, NER and Highland plus GER ones from Robd. Search TPO on the DLS and you should find it all.

Hi ehd6,
Found something peculiar...unless it just me. :ROFLMAO:

searched CM with the following:
installed =true
on download station = true
name = tpo

the only result that came back was BR Mk1 TPO Stowage Van (727) Blue.

================================================
searched CM with the following:
installed = false
on download station = true
name = tpo

and a whole lot of stuff pop up, including yours....

Why The Difference .??

Thanks gents , I'm downloading them now . It does seem a little weird that they had this device beside a narrow steep road rather than simply unloading the bags at Durham station but thinking more it may be that they wanted to unload them from a sleeper train without stopping it at Durham.

@WestSideRailways

The filters are combined by AND, unless you add an OR (or AND NOT) filter.
Your first combination of filter searches for assets, which are already installed AND available at the DLS.
The second combination searches for assets, which are not installed AND available at the DLS.

That what i thought.....

but it is not what happens..

If i search for something and not sure if it is installed... how would you search....

@edh6

Excellent content, Thank You very Much.

Just one small point, if I may....

it would have been nice to see the delivered post in the net after the trainz had passed.

PickUp and deliver

That's a good idea. I'd like to rewrite the script anyway at some point to make it work outside of compatibility mode, so I'll add that at the same time. Not sure exactly when that will be though...

Do any of the UK routes have these set up?

Thanks John
This is my own set up on my Norfolk layout. Being dual track on this section there's a similar set up for the other track. The post office is nearby in the township and the PO staff collect the mail pouches on a barrow and wheel them back to the post office.
