Two versions on same volume

It is possible, just watch out for two things:

1.When it comes to patch the versions, make sure it's patching the right folder.
2.Make sure they are installed seperately from each other.

EDIT: Welcome to the forums.

If you mean the same drive yes, what I do is partition the drive and put 2010/2012 in their own partition. Then if anything goes badly wrong (apart from hard drive failure) just format the partition and re install. Never had to do it in 6-7 years but the option is there.l

Can I install 2010 and 2012 on the same volume?

Yup, and you can have as many installations of either as you like. If you install from disc/download, the "official" installation (as far as Windows is concerned) will point to the most recent one.

Thanks. How much space do I need in the new partition?
