Two questions

Morning Gents:

I downloaded "WM & B&O Mega Route Native Mood". I just wanted something to mess around with when I get bored working on my route. (To Joe, mega is right! What a thing of beauty! I could not build that in 50 years....who am I kidding, I could never build it! All I have done is look at it so far. What a piece of work, thanks so much!)

1. I just cannot find this <kuid:64038:27779>. It's name is Trailer_Container8. I think jkeenan is the author. I've googled, checked here, just can't find it. I even downloaded anything of his that looked like it might contain the file in a "pack". I'm sure the route will run fine without it. It is the only missing item, so it just bugs me not having it. Anyone know where to find it?

2. At Joe's site I saw this: "It will be necessary to copy the built in "ja" files from TS2010 as they contain some of the route files." I have a brand new copy of TS2010, not even unwrapped yet. Can anyone explain why these files are needed? The message was for guys installing the route in TS12. Is there a way to see the files in TS2010, without having to install it? I would like to still be able to give TS2010 to someone, someday. Finally, do I have to be online to install it? Hee, hee, sorry, I guess that's a little more than 2 questions!

I had to find about 168 items. Everything looks beautiful. I have seen what looks like a missing dam or rocks, waterfall, whatever, in one area, in a river. There may be more, It's HUGH, I have not looked at the whole thing, that might take a good month! Other than that, it seems to be all there.

What a route! If you have not already, have a look at it!

Thanks guys...cheers....Rick

I don't see how you can see the files without installing it.
Well let me think ,if you can see the *ja files on the cd copy to folder.
There is a German app called jax it will let you look at and unpack most *ja files.
Make sure you have enough disks-pace if you unpack and copy the *ja to a separate folder.

Most of the 2010 builtin items, excluding routes and sessions were put on the DLS for TS12 users, so you may have already downloaded them.
If those are the only two items missing I would think you have got all the 2010 builtins it needs.

Thanks guys!

I'll try that kuid again, about the only thing I didn't do way type "kuid" in capitol letters.

It all looks fine to me, I think I can fix any weird things I see. I'm not going to worry about the TS2010 files. I'll save the route to a cdp before I do anything.

Thanks guys, I think it's going to rain this afternoon, a good time to mess about with the route!

Cheers...Rick

Thanks xcrossi, using "KUID" did the trick! Hee, hee, still a 62 year old kid when it comes to Trainz! I had never run into kuid spelled with capitols. Boy, you better type in the correct characters if you want to find what you're looking for!
