Two Major Requests

Request #1: I'm looking for the Creator of the Matlin Hump yard. He uses these tank cars I can't seem to find anywhere, so maybe he made the paint scheme himself. The tank cars are black and are called Bundle Stars. If it's not too much trouble and if he reads this, I'm wondering if he could send me .cdp files of those tankers so I can use them on my routes. Here is the video link: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=UJ2nj7FrXOA*and the precise minute where you can find the Bundle Stars tankers in the video, which begins at 08:48. Requests #2: I am having trouble finding decent software for my Mac OSX.7. I tried Gimp but it didn't work. I need some reskins or undec locomotives and rolling stock to be painted to a fictional paint scheme of 1 rail company and 1 rail car leasing co. The paint schemes are easy and not hard nor busy at all. Even if some of the locomotives and rolling stock appeared weathered and detailed, that would be a major bonus! Hopefully someone will take some time to do it and send me the .cdp files. I'll credit them of course should I upload my layout to the DLS for others to use as they choose. Hopefully this isn't too much to ask. Thank you.

For your second request you might care to try the following website. https://alternativeto.net/

You enter an example of what you are looking for (top right hand corner) i.e. Photoshop, Gimp etc. and it provides a list of alternatives, whether they are commercial or free, their platform, description and so forth. Peter

The Tankers: Author is Auran AKA N3V and they were one of the TANE Kickstarter rewards and are locked Payware.

Ok, got it. I have no intention to upload it or export it but I guess I can't get it then through payware.

Pretty sure it's now built in to TANE, there are actually two of them, the second one is a white one with a different company also locked.

Thinking of the image editor, try PINTA it's a Mac program similar to paint.net for windows and was designed to be easier than Gimp which is a bizarre program https://pinta-project.com/pintaproject/pinta/ does layers and such so ought to be ok for reskins and it's free.

Ok, got it. I don't have T:ANE, I have Train Simulator 2 (2014). Based on what you're saying, it's an item only for T:ANE. No problem. Thanks for your link to a Paintshop App for Mac that's like Paint.net for Windows! I'll check it out. Hopefully it works for me and my computer, since it's a Mac OSX.7. Thanks for your response and help.

Ok I downloaded Pinta onto my computer. So how do I get a .cdp file on there, or how exactly do I do this procedure? Sure, I did Paintshop before but this is a bit different.

You can't work with a CDP. If the asset is listed in Content Manager, then use Open for Editing to get the asset files into a folder where they can be edited.

How do I use Pinta on a Unit or Rolling Stock, or how do I get those Assets onto Pinta? I know these may seem like annoying questions, but I'm new to all of this.

Ok, I wasn't able to open the Asset in Pinta, but what I had to do was drag the Loco body onto the Desktop. I then put it into Pinta to add the colors. So I'm slowly working through it somehow.
