Tunnel troubles

Hi All,

Can anyone out there suggest a way I can place a straight extendable tunnel (with track) at a specified angle, everything I have tried so far attaches at 45 degree (and multiples there of) and I need something that would go off at an angle of about 300 degrees.

Any thoughts??

TIA

I take it that these are "snap to grid tunnels" that click onto the map.

There is a way to alter tunnels config files so that they do not "snap to grid"

Are you looking for a single tunnel ... or a double tunnel ?

I have found some wonderful tunnels that are not "snap to grid" ... and some are tunnels without track ... that you lay your own track right on through the tunnel spline

I will give details and names later.

One is "Tunnel3_1 voie" and other creations of Fred24 (it has errors that require fixing, and I will help you fix them).

Another is "UK Tunnel Without Track" which is a double track bore

Are you working on flat baseboards, or on a DEM with gradients ?

On this matter there is a lot to talk. I always lay my track over the existing one from whatever tunnel I use. And the track I lay is the HP steel track bridge sound. It makes the passage noisy almost as if there is the real noise of tunnels. But this track is obsolete for the latest built. So the question is: Is anybody makes tunnel sound track? compatible to the latest built?, or can anybody make the above HP track to work as it used to be. I tried, but couldn't.

I have several "Spline Object" tunnels and portals on my site that work with "Dig Holes". There's also a tutorial on installing them. Click on my sig below.
