TS2010: Assets downloaded from DLS don't show up in TS2010 Surveyor

I have both TS2009 and TS2010 installed on my computer - as separate applications. TS2009 uses Content Manager 2.0; TS 2010 uses Content Manager 3.2.

Invoking the content manager option from TS2010, I have downloaded - from all indications successfully - a number of pre-TS2010 assets into TS2010 asset database. I have the auto commit switch set.

I cannot see any of these assets in TS2010 Surveyor object select list and I do not have a clue why not. (I have used these assets successfully in TS2009 Surveyor.)

Is it possible that - unbeknownst (sp?) to me - that the Content Manager for TS2010 is pointing to the TS2009 Trainz Asset DB (TAD) and not to the TS2010 TAD?

Is there another, simpler answer?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Wes

Hi Wes
TS2010 has a setting turned on by default that shows only assets that have been rated 5 stars (or 'favorited'). As such, it shows all of the TS2010 assets. You can turn this off by turning off the filter (the filter tool is the icon on the top toolbar that looks like a 'funnel'). You can also set Trainz to not default to showing only these assets by going into your Surveyor options, and then turning the 'display only favorite content' option, then saving, then turning this back off.

re; Downloaded Assets Don't Show Up in TS2010 Objects Menu

Thanks, Zec, for the pointer.

I tried it and it works fine. Now I have all my familiar assets available.
